The 3D printed base is cool but the head comes with a base that looks very similar, the 3D printed one is a bit bigger but that’s it. The base that comes with the head is under the E.F.S.F. logo. Thanks for showing us how to get these things apart, very helpful!
HAHA, thanks for suggesting it! Seriously, getting ideas on what to show folks helps us do more for you guys.. other than our silly videos to promote SCGMC that is...
This was very helpful and a tip I just tryed and it worked was I use my X-Acto blade and dipped it in Goo-gone and it helpped eat the glue and the popped the visor off.
I missed out on the 1st series and have the 2nd series rx78-2 that I am trying to get the red visor off and dismayed how unlike the Zaku’s this head is pretty much glued together. Thanks for sharing how to disassemble here. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
If you're in the USA, Gamestop started getting them-the first series. I just picked up 2 of them today in Philadelphia. The store just got the Gashapon machine yesterday
Good to know, i put a mini hand saw to mine but I did break a small part, its fine I was going to do damaging effects on it so it turned out ok in the end.
Sure, here's an amazon link: www.amazon.com/Tamiya-Fine-Craft-Saws-0-15mm/dp/B01LZNOU6K/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=tamiya+hobby+saw&qid=1596849159&s=toys-and-games&sr=1-2 Just search for Tamiya Hobby Saw or Hasegawa Hobby saw.
Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to open mine with breaking it. I can't wait to get some LEDs in mine.

Super useful video. That should help the community along with customizing their exceed heads for future builds.

Great stuff!!!
Thank you for the disassembly video! Have you updated where you added a light into the red visor? I want to add an led to the visor and the lights.
Thanks for the Clem magic :) Please tell me you're going to do a followup video of your WIP or the completed custom :D
felt like the amount of glue used are not the same on each one. for mine, the visor removed pretty easily but the other piece is really hard
Do you happen to have a link to those tiny saws?

is exceed head same size as megasize gundam kit?
no, the exceed head is much bigger than the mega. Mega is 1/48 scale. The exceed is about 1/35 scale or close to that
it already comes with a base just pop the efsf logo off
FILIPINO ACCENT- more dissasembly please
Damn, I'm dissapointed, I hoped that they're not like this so I can try making it have glowing eyes without much hassle
