Who would have thought a little steel wool could create such an awesome shrapnel effect? Great creativity, and a stunning end result!
I mean yeah, Shrapnel is metal
I'm still blown back by him using the LED in the light bulbs. We use those at my work and all I think is how bright they are, little did i know they make perfect blaster fire

The “explosion”, if you will, on the inside of the wing is glorious.

I really liked how in the first few glamour shots, the sort of mirroring the cover was doing made it look like you could almost see the rest of the battle happening around them
That is one of the best Star Wars dioramas I have ever seen. So simple, but so stunning to look at. I will most definitely be trying these LED filaments in my own work. Thanks !!!
Damn, that's freaking cool. The way that shot goes through the TIE Fighter looks amazing. Great job sir!
Thanks! Appreciate your feedback.
This is awesome dude !!
I feel the creativity is strong in this one....
Breathtaking
This 1/144 scale model display is awesome!
The destroyed TIE looks just like the one on the box art for the original Rogue Squadron, very cool
Very cool 👍👍👍
This is one of the coolest works I've seen. Very creative. Imagine having that but with led:s so you could change the colour to whatever you want to.
Totally rad decoration.
Cant get over how incredible this turned out, know I've seen this 1 in particular at least 8 times.
I would install some purple led’s in the engines of the x wing, to simulate their functionality
That’s a good idea!
@@Boylei Man this is a beautiful diarama..did you just solder the led cirquit to the 110/220 volt leads?
I think that’s be a little hard you’d prolly have to run wires through the model and those models are usually very fragile
Isn't the engine glow for X wings pink usually?
@@typhoon37351 I’d say magneta
Dang... the effects the blasts have on the case when it’s on the base makes the whole dio feel like it’s in a huge space battle! Well done sir!
Yeah would look really awesome if had backdrop in the case
this diorama is infinitely better than the game
I have never been this mesmerized by every second of a how to vid like I was for this. This is freaking glorious!!
As if I wasn't ALREADY looking forward to Squadrons enough... you make me think about X-Wings again! Good job.
Squadrons is gonna be so fun! Thanks for watching my video!
Whoa. You can make some serious cash for these. Great job
Yesss
Ya i would selling these bad boys!!
I will have one if you decide to sell some
Take my money
I would buy one in a hartbeat
Impresive...most impresive!
Take this imperial bucket heads! Yeah!! Epic Diorama.
That's pretty spiffy. If a suggestion wouldn't be too much - get some vantablack paint for the base and the stalk things. It'll completely absorb the glow from the lasers, which would leave them seeming to hover and leave the black base surface as infinitely deep. A pot of vantablack or similar isn't all that much, I'm seeing sources for about $10-$12, and I swear blind it'll turn this from spiffy to mind borkling.
Vantablack can't be purchased, but I think culture hustle sells black 2.0 which is just as good
But musou black can.. new deepest black :)
Vantablack is more a coating then a paint, doubt any can product wich claims they are vantablack are in real vantablack tho
@@livelikeasuicide4837 Vantablack was bought exclusive rights to by an artist that never even invented it. The artist and creator now have a feud, and the creator has made paint that is much darker than vantablack, called black 2.0, and now an even darker paint called black 3.0, both of which are cheaper than vantablack.
MIND BORKLING!!!!
You blew my mind with that exploding tie fighter 🤯
That is by one of the coolest diorama I’ve ever seen, probably because I was a huge Star Wars fan
This is the single coolest thing I have seen on youtube
The steel-wool trick looks so absolutely awesome!
Very nice work!
OMG this is amazing man, i'm an ULTRA star wars fan, And I'm almost crying just looking at the diorama hahahah, it was amazing man
Thanks so much! I will definitely be making more like it.
Wow! That looks so good! It’s one of those things that you could just stare at for hours. BIG respect!
What an amazing build, I could stare at it the whole day
Just saw this on Reddit. Love it
*Outstanding work & trending again!* 🤯
Thanks for showing the tutorial section on sourcing and using the LED filament! I was trying like heck to find that stuff and didn’t know you were just chopping bulbs and using their boards. Massively simple and helpful! Thanks Dude
SO simple and clean looking. You have a knack for not over complicating the scene. Keep up the good hard work.
Love your build. I recently saw this black paint on RUclips that absorbs 99.3 ot 99.7% of all light. This would be perfect for your base and metal stands. Seriously, they will disappear and your laser blasts and ships will actually look like they are floating. Really hope you try this and upload it after the base and wire repaint
Are you talking about Vantablack or something else that's commercially available? I think Vantablack is carcinogenic and hard to get anyway.
Sean Smith : yes. Vanta. But there is another one. Look up on RUclips. I think it’s called moano black or something like that.

@@r199ers thank you 👍👍
Absolutely amazing, you have great skill!
Thanks for your encouragement!
Absolutely phenomenal!!!....just phenomenal
Amazing work, love the damage effects on the Tie Fighter.
Very nice! The explosion effect looks so good!
Thank you!
It's UNBELIEVABLE i can feel so much motion from a still model. Phenomenal work man.
The led filaments add such an amazing lifelike touch to these. Like a still taken right out of the Death Star Battle in episode 4!
I have a really good feeling about this.
Damn, That's really cool. i'm Serious
Dead serious, I would pay you for a creation like this. It's beautiful. Is this even a possibility?
Dito
shutup and take my money!
That steel wool is inspirational
That steel wool makes a massive visual impact for something so small. Fantastic work!
I'm working on the same project..... Except that I bought the ships premade and painted to save Hours and tons of effort, then used LED strings with black matte and left the bright places to simulate lasers, and cotton painted yellow to orange to simulate explosions.
I finished the entire build in 4 hours
Hi have you got the links of these different items that you've mentioned? Especially for ships premade and painted
@@mandalorn2544 I'll take some pics and upload them... The ships were bought at target, already painted and assembled
@@LuisMendoza-pp9qi Ok thank you can you tell me when you uploaded the pics please? I really want to reconstitute this diorama. It's awesome.
"Stylo ren" made me spit out my drink. That is gold hahaha
I have no problem saying this.....you are a master!!!!
One of my favourites!
In the voice of Vader...."Force is strong in this one"
i love how the box makes it look like there is more going on in the background ! also the explosion looks incredible, where did you learn that technique ?
The coolest thing I have ever seen
Impressive,... Most impressive.
This is great! I tried to find the 12v bulbs but I am not sure I got the right ones... do you happen to have a link to those? Either way, this is fantastic work!
You are amazing! Is this just a hobby for you, or is your job similar to building these in some way? Because you should definitely do that for work you're so talented!
Thank you for your kind words! I actually work in coffee. This is just a hobby of mine.
@@Boylei
So that's why you were moving so fast in the video!
Beautiful work sir, excellent.
@@Boylei first time seeing your video, but I'd totally recommend building a simple website and listing some of your projects that you're willing to sell when you inevitably run out of storage room for them.
It is amazing to express even the beam!
This works beautifully
This is amazing... So do you sell these? I love one for my office... LIke if it was mounted on the wall but 10x bigger..
Yes he needs sell them
@krvnjrcbs People build on commission all of the time with known vehicles. The purchaser is also purchasing the model kits the diorama is built with. Limitations come with mass production of IP that you do no own.
Very good work!!! 👍🏻
Moved me to start modeling again.
I wonder if you could make a video in which you explain in more detail how to connect filaments including resistor correctly. Couldn't find anything about it and it would help me a lot. 🙏🏻
I will definitely get around to making an in depth tutorial soon.
No words, I have no words!
Best thing I’ve seen all week
Any commission work? I'll pay whatever
That is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. Amazing work.
Truly impressive work and design! You have given me ‘a new hope’ to build and display my Star Wars kits!
That is so dynamic and visceral.
I love the TIE Fighter coming together and taking off.
SICK WORK DUDE!!!!!! THE EXPLODING TIE PUT IT OVER THE TOP....AWSOME!!!!!👍
Such a great project. I like it’s simplicity. Awesome idea!
If I had a fraction of these skills I'd be happy!
that's supposed to be a crime. your talent is unreal.
Wow Dude! I am a World War 2 Tank and plane model builder with chipping, mud, airbrush and detail skills. I am also a Big Star Wars Fan and you're making me think to go another direction! Wow!! Great work!
the damage part looks so good!
Wow! This is awesome! One of the best dioramas I’ve ever seen! And you can take that very seriously! Wow!!!
How can anyone not like this model set up it's brilliant
Well done its fantastic job
WOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Simply gorgeous!
Dude, you’re the Boss - !!!
Genius build; lasers & exploding Tie Fighter execution is incredible !
This should be firekin cool.
It's actually quite beautiful.
Here thanks to Brian. That's beautiful!
The Rebel Base Build | JC3D | Props | Cosplay Thank you!
I cant even think of words to describe this. Great job
Amazing simple & clear
This is my favorite one that you have made!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesomeness hands down. This is just an amazing build. Thank you for posting this video..
Thanks to you, I realized the same thing but integrating it into a landscape in the Guilin region. I also replaced the electronic board part of the LED bulb with a 12V 2A power supply and added resistors in parallel on each LED (less chance of getting hurt ;)).
Thank you very much for this tutorial!
Absolutely astonishing!!
A fine addition to your collection!
Wow, Other than writing, reading or just simply "Binge" watching...this kid is applying himself to some serious production.
Good Job & Good Luck.
Brilliant idea. What a great effect it ended up being. Awesome!
That is brilliant
OMG! OMG! This is AWESOME! I want one of these!
Impressive...most impressive.
So Little painting effort for such an amazing result
Awesome!!!
My goodness, that turned out amazing!
I really like the idea of using steel wool for the sparks, because even if someone doesn't visually interpret that as sparks it still looks like pieces of the fighter getting shredded.
That explosion looks great man.
Wow! That is so cool!! Even though I saw how it was made, my eyes only see the illusion. The steel wool sparks and the simulated impact on the Tie Fighter really sell it.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
this is super awesome i wish something like this was on Etsy id totally buy this for my desk
Sooo fraking good
Sweet! The effect with the steel wool is awesome.
BRILLIANT! Way to go man. What an awesome build and so creative with the LED filaments.
Very cool man! Great little diorama! The steel wool explosion is what really makes this next level.
