So excited when we found out is was possible! Driving the tuktuk needs some time getting used to… for us the Sri Lankan traffic and driving on the left made it even harder. After two days we where used to it. We got great drivers lessons from tuktukrental.com too!

Thanks for the video! Couple of questions: 1. Can you drive across the nation? Are there any restrictions 2. Does tuk tuk has a windshield or rainshield to cover while driving?

You are free to drive wherever you want in Sri Lanka. Its that freedom that makes it so fun. Only two highways are of limit for all tuktuks. There is a rainshield in the tuktuk, we only used it once. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏🏻

We got our driver license and showen it to the police when we got stopped. Never a problem!

TUK TUk like scooter or bicycle
I was born & raised in Tamil family in Ceylon in our time it is not requirement for tourists by the way at that time no TUK TUK
