😠 ~ I assume the “animal lovers” & fraudulent mouse trap video fraudsters were being “triggered” by the pests being visible & eaten by the predatory ones and immediately reporting the video to the YT bot to have it demonised

I feel like that vertical stick should be longer. So the weight is higher up and drops further.

Does anyone know why there isn’t an outro or why he doesn’t feed the mice to wildlife anymore?

What’s the point of the string? The stick holds the block with or without the string.
The stick is forced out sideways by the string acting as a tether as without it the trap would automatically trigger; the end of the pad furthest away from the stick is resting on the bottom and the arm is lifted up, the tether is needed to put sideways force on the stick so it remains set due to friction, when something pushes down on the middle area it pushes the external arm down releasing the stick and thus the weight.
TLDR: the stick wants to be forced downwards by the weight but you need the arm to initially be in the upwards position not the downwards position (it's hinging on the end furthest away not in the middle).
Never knew what hit him....
