Set up the back wall with a dining bar (with barstools) and the TV on a televator. Then the slides can be couch on one side, recliners with a full pantry on the other side. Maybe throw in a small freestanding table to use with the couch if necessary. NOTE: I'm not a big TV person, so I'm ok with not-so-perfect viewing angles...
Ive been warching for years. Was a boater. Have a 197bh and i sleep in the double bunk so i have a couch and dinnette in a small space. Big bathroom too. You are a gem and the best and most fun rv person out there
Love all of these huge windows in the living room. Love the new table and chairs. Love all of the over head cabinets. Nice kitchen with all of this space. Nice tv. Love the bath room. Nice bedroom. Like the closet slide. The Oninimg is a little samll. Wish it was bigger. Wish it had a xl vet fan. Have a great weekend josh!
Ooo. I REALLY like this one, as the chairs are so much easier to remove and resell (or store) so that there's room for the cat tower as well as the sewing dress form.
Put a tall pantry to the right side of the kitchen cabinets. I would also put a sleeper sofa on camp side slide with a free standing table. I would also remove stands by recliners and rotate recliners to face each other with a free standing table in-between. Why , because most of time you back into camping spot and the best view is out the back window, river view ,lake view, ocean view. config. would offer additional 2 person bed, large pantry, easy viewing to outside rear, extra table . For me this would be the perfect RV. Thank you josh I believe you are a cut above the rest ! 👍
wow! it finally clicked in my head how the cable system works lol... Nobody every told me that its a different cable for the outside. My cougar had the cable slides but i never could picture how it worked. Nice trailer, thinking I'm gonna trade my 25RES in for it, since it has 4 point leveling and my Cougar doesn't. A few more windows than I would like but oh well....
more info on them here: ruclips.net/video/3kdVXKtIDks/видео.html I did this job for years before anyone helped me understand it As soon as I did I was like "...well yeah it would HAVE to be that wouldn't it?"
Thank you Josh thus Cougar is nice. Nice floor plan. Like the bathroom and the fact that you can ti the bathroom and bedroom when you to stop and go. Bib Evan’s yum. They don’t have those here. We used to go there fur breakfast. That’s also Linda Evan’s from Dynasty and Big Valleys ex- husband. Did you ever find Doug? lol! Thank you Josh for showing this Cougar.
1) I like Cougars. They look nice on video. 2) You said that H.R. lets you cook…. Does that mean they let you cook your own goose? 😂 3) I hmm 🤔, I just thought of a neat hitch accessory. I wonder if I could make some money off of it. 4) Always enjoy your videos Josh.
Thank you Mr. Nerd. Is that a leather/pleather material on the sofa and recliners? Uggg.... if it is. Almost looked like the tv wall mount was off to the side near the slideout in the bedroom? Hopefully the slide wouldn't hit the tv.
The diagram shows hidden storage behind the fireplace. Does it have a door that opens up to the hidden storage like JAYCO’s version of this camper does ??
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I like what they have done with this Cougar! I like that they give you two recliners instead of a theater seat, an the dinette is awesome. The one thing that I don't get is why the fresh water tank is smaller than the grey tank? I think the fresh water tank should be bigger an the grey and black tanks should equal out to how many gallons the fresh water tank is. Lets say the fresh water tank is 80 gallons then the grey and black tanks should be 40 gallons apeice, that my thinking on it. But they knocked this Cougar out of the park! Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this Cougar fifth wheel and giving us the good information an the not so good information on it like losing the kitchen in travel mode. Your number one fan and friend Leonard from North Carolina! #NERDHERD 😎💪👍🤘🐕🐒🐶🐺🐱🐈🐉🐊🐢🤓😎😁😂
those recliners should be wall huggers!!! i have a jayco 28 rls and it such a pain to keep moving the recliners away from the big back window and screen
You cannot. There is not enough room for the slides to close with a sofa. That's why it has the chairs -- they can turn sideways to allow the slides to close
A while back. I sometimes am in situations where I am batch recording RVs, then I stagger the rollout so you're not getting like 17 cougar videos in a row
It's a daily thing really. Many viewers don't realize I'm not in sales myself And if you watch back years ago I kind of was. I helped cover the sales floor at my home store when I wasnt making videos But eventually the video work became all encompassing
Seems like it was designed in Japan. "Verrwe compartmentalize. " Still like it. Just prefer the one without the camp side slide. To each their own. Very nice like always from Cougar 🍻 I can see it fitting well for the end of the roaders on their last journey.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yup! Checks all the boxes for me. This one is perfect for those who are going to spend most of the time inside and use it as an upscale hotel. TBH I’d like to see the Montana 330RL floor plan in this smaller version. I like the windows and opposing sides. The tv blocks having a window on the slide ok, ok. Personally I don’t like the chairs and table prefer a bench style set up bed conversion. I prefer a mid kitchen vs rear. And the shower standard box not radius!! This is close to what I want in my next 5ther.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I’m waiting for the right one Josh. The kids are grown. Just need a couples RV or TT maybe room for mom or guest. Prefer a 5thW. I’ll look for that model. As for brand this is a consideration but the floor plan will drive our decision. Love your work! 😊 Thank you
Jump to the part in the bathroom where I'm standing in the shower. With shoes I'm about 6'2" The shower height is the same as the rest of the upper deck until it tapers down by the bed
Sofa, theater seating switched, not a good idea. Shorter statis people, like my wife, might have problems seeing over the dinnett seat. She's 5'. In a reclining position, probably a problem. And a lack of a pantry, would be a deal breaker.

I’ve said it before, Cougar RVs are chef kiss. This model wouldn’t be the RV for us, but 👏👏👏 for such a great floor plan in a short foot print.

Thanks Nerd! No power needed in bedroom slide pocket IMO. Thank you for explaining why another awning would not be mountable on the slide.

That’s such a great model! Wished there was enough room in the entertainment center to have a small griddle on the camp side. Thank you Josh!

Very nice changes. With the 3k tandem, I'd certainly consider this
Thanks 👍

I'm unsure how a bedroom TV may clear there. You'll definitely want to watch for that
That brand new rig had surface rust showing already wow
Was wondering if the sleeper sofa would fit where chairs are? Would love sofa and 1 recliner. 😊
I think the challenge there is closing the slide up. The recliners have to turn to close the slides which shaves about 6" off the RV
Nice but I would worry about the slide systems. Should I be worried about the BAL accuslide?
Everyone has varying opinions. I will say rack and pinion is often referred by owners over anything else

Just the tv that pivots as shown
See the storage section before I go to the upper deck

LOVE this model. Can anyone confirm, is this a full size queen bed or a camp queen? TIA
Camp
For now it’s a camp queen anyway
They’re working on it allegedly
Josh, can an awning be added to the passenger side slide?
As it turn out it cannot. There are not backers in that wall to mount the awning nor is there space between the window & slide flange

A little short on awning to sit under. They could put another on on the slide to.
