Hey Lee, this is my favourite Warcry video from you yet! I agree that the best part of the game is the unbalanced gameplay which makes for plenty of dramatic moments 👍🏼 One thing I'd like to highlight regarding monster-hunting abilities is that Gutting Strike actually got changed in the Grand Alliance books. In Monsters & Mercenaries the ability used to read "Add DOUBLE the value of this ability to the damage......", which I feel is quite a significant nerf. Btw my favourite monster ability is Drag and Maul!
Thanks Joshua, that’s great to hear! Do you still use the M&M rule for that? I don’t see why you couldn’t if everyone playing was ok with it. That’s a cool thing about Warcry, the rules are pretty flexible and allow for some home brewing and mixing up.
@@tabletopskirmishgames Yup absolutely agreed, we have plenty of house rules just to make our games more streamlined or fair. One thing for sure, the M&M rule for this makes the monster challenge battles much easier!
Thank you! I made some cards, rules, and a scenario battle for the Stegadon for my Patreon. You can definitely use the stats and abilities from other monsters and proxy them. Great models.
As Joshua said, there could be a new box set coming soon. Otherwise, you can get the Catacombs box set pretty cheap now. I saw it for £75 not that long ago! That’s a real bargain considering what you get in the box. It’s got everything you need to play and a real good way to start for sure. The warbands are fun to play. Watch out, though, it gets addictive and the original warbands that you can still buy separately are fantastic! My favourite is the Corvus Cabal and Untamed Beasts.

Thats awesome, the Zombie Dragon looks like a great model. I need to get some more monsters! Sure can, I've got them on my list to do and have a load of them painted already so I'll put them to the top of the list 👊

GW has already hinted at a new Warcry announcement coming real soon! If it's a new core set, I should imagine that would be the best place to start 😉

Mistake on the Gorgon. Showing stats and abilities of the Chaos Gargant again. Audio is correct though!
