haha I saw this movie when I was 12 and I forgot everything about it the title and the actors but I remembered the plot in my mind it was one of the best thriller movies I ever seen and I was dying to remember it. Just 10 minutes ago I remember that the title contains "CAR" and here we go. I don't know why this movie stuck in my mind all these years

yep it happens , things look up to date until a decade or two passes and it looks dated. look at videos from 2007 and they'll look like they're from 1997 , by 2030 , 2016 will look dated AF.
I was a teenager when I watched this & remember loving it & also being one of the many it seems to of not forgot about it!? I don't understand why it meant so much it wasn't a successful film at all but the The Terminator was a B movie that became a massive A movie later on.
