  • In our third and final MEXICO CITY food tour we share some incredible international (Non-Mexican) food! Mexico City is one of the most diverse cities in Mexico and even though they are famous for tacos and classic Mexican food there is so much more to eat!
    The Zona Rosa district is not only wildly inclusive it is becoming a hub for asian and more specifically Korean cuisine. We will take you to a really cool cook your own ramen shop conveniently named Cook Ramen.
    We finally get a chance to try the epic Chicago Bernies Beef Bike that's famous for burgers and Italian Beef Sandwiches! We take you on a tour of CDMX's bustling China town and eat some unique Chinese inspired street snacks. We eat a delicious papa loca at Taqueria Gabriel and much more!

    I was born in Mexico city Iztapalapa, my grandparents live there but I only lived there for 6 months of my life 😅. My parents are from Pénjamo Guanajuato but I only lived there one year before coming to Phoenix Arizona. I have enjoyed watching all your Mexico videos hope to be in Mexico city this November, planning on staying a month because my grandparents are now older so wanted to visit them while I still can. As you know being American anything can be Mexican food since most cooks in the states are Mexican 😅. For good or bad we are the backbone of many American businesses even if people don't wanna give us the credit we deserve. Stay safe guys.

    wow. That Italian beef looks incredible. This is how I prepare them at home. In Chicago I learned to find the best sandwiches and they were where the meat was not cut by machine. The meat had to be manually torn, tender and juicy. The drowned torta de guadalajara looks similar But there is another one that is more similar and they are barbecue sandwiches (Torta de barbacoa y cochinita pibil) since that meat is baked underground for more than 12 hours.
    It is funny. That when you made your potato and cheese taco. You said it wasn't technically a taco. But the truth is that it is. Since everyone believes that the taco is a food. Even many Mexicans. But the reality is that the taco is just the method of putting any food you want inside a tortilla. There are no rules in Mexico. That is the reason why there are thousands of taquerias . You will always find a different style on every corner.

    • @HeresGoodTravel
      @HeresGoodTravel  4 месяца назад

      Wow this was freaking awesome! Thanks for the great comment. “There are no rules in Mexico” truer words have never been spoken. We live in San Diego and there are no good beef sandwiches. We drive like 2 hours to get to Portillo’s sometimes! Thanks for the rad comment, it made our day. We promise to keep eating all the tacos!

    Im from Scotland and live in Mexico. Ive lived here close to 8 years, 5 in Mexico City and 3 in Cuernavaca. For me Mexico City blows even New York out the water and is culinary nirvana. Just for the mexican cuisine itself which for me is the best in the world for variation.
