    Great job! As a student therapist I’m looking forward to learning from experienced instructors, that being said, just because someone has knowledge in an area doesn’t signify that they are a good teacher, you have been blessed with your therapeutic craft, attention to detail, and teaching ability.
    Many thanks

      Leonie Bannister I’m sorry to hear about the tingling & numbness. Could it be thoracic outlet? Which fingers go numb & tingle? Thumb & index are median nerve middle finger is both median & ulnar. Ring & pinkie are ulnar nerve. The radial nerve also serves the dorsal part of the hand. I hope you are getting some work done because a lot of times it’s just ischemic muscles pressing on the nerves. Best of luck & thank you for your comments

    • @MassageTherapeutics915
      @MassageTherapeutics915  5 лет назад

      Karl Kuchma yes!!!! You got it. Centripal massage is so important so as not to damage the lunar valves that are in the veins!!! This is how people get varicose when the valves are damaged. You know your anatomy! And must be a very good therapist!!!! Thanks for the compliment

      @@MassageTherapeutics915I do like me some anatomy, but I'm not a therapist. I'm just some goofball trying to keep my body functional and moving. Once in a while, I might read up on a thing or two. You do great work with you explainations. Here's an anecdotal one but research is confirming. Mechanical sheering (massage) helps to stimulate the extracellular matrix (ECM) exposing cryptic sites within the ECM. The ECM is the goo surrounding cells and within the goo are the cryptic sites (proteins, growth factors, etcetera) that signal cellular responses like "repair."
      This could be why electric toothbrushes work so well for managing gum disease beyond plaque removal. They vibrate the heck out of the surrounding gum tissue breaking up the ECM exposing the cryptic sites.

      @MassageTherapeutics915  5 лет назад

      Karl Kuchma this is great information! I’m equally impressed that you’re not a therapist yet know so much! Welcome to my channel. I’m an anatomy nerd myself even though I forget most it lol. The new studies show that the fascia has more golgi tendon organs than previously known. If you want a good read check out “fascia as an organ of proprioception and it’s role to chronic pain” by dr. Schierling. A really fascinating read. New information on fascia & it’s importance! Thank you for the stimulating commentary
