  • My Honda boat motor blew up, and we were forced to make the expensive decision, repower or replace? In this episode, I discuss what happened and how we will be remedying the situation with the help of Chris with Onsite Marine. Chris owns On-site marine along with Thompson's Auto Parts off of 41 in Ruskin, Florida. Can you believe I have lived here a decade and never even knew about this store? A boat supply store right in my back yard with all the marine accessories I could ever need.
That is one of the reasons I place emphasis on showing you around in this video. Chris is one of the few Suzuki dealers in this immediate area, but he services Yamaha, Honda, Mercury, and Suzuki motors. He is also mobile, so if you don't want to travel to him, he will gladly come to you. Watch as we remove the old motor and get "Big Red" prepared for her new 300 horsepower motor. "I just wanna go fast, Ricky Bobby." Be sure to check out Chris's Instagram and contact information below. Shop local, my beautiful friends:

Why spend 3k fixing a lower unit when you can spend 30k on a new motor!
    Hell of a sales pitch.

3K On a 20 year old motor lol. Yea your logic makes more sense. The 300 doesn't cost 30k. 👍

@@Saltyscales sorry, thought thats what the guy said. www.suzuki.ca/product/2021-df300ap/
$31,095 plus costs of rigging, new instruments, taxes etc. Well over 30,000.

Hey Josh, I don't want to assume so I will ask, are we going to see the new engine put on the boat? I was thinking instead of a catch, clean, and cook, you could make a catch, prep, and install video. Love Honda engines but have been blown away by the Suzuki engines. Dude your going to fly. Interesting tour of the auto parts store. Saw some things I had not expected. Looking forward to the power plant. 👍 Take Care, Stay Well, and God Bless my friends! ✝
