This self insert is 100% real. I played and finished Spiderman 2. The way Mary Jane was shoehorned in to be essentially the third main character was extremely off putting to me. Mainly because it felt completely unearned. She didn't have powers, training or really any reason to be a complete badass. She never needed to be saved but saves others of course. She randomly was 007. All I can say is I now understand what happened. Not only did this writer put her face on MJ, but she wrote MJ to be a Mary Sue that was meant to be her...

The studio hired a professional actress that looked like the character that was intended to be modeled after her. If a dev turns around and deletes this character model to replace it by themselves, that's literally misuse and diverted company funding for personal gain.fire her, then sue her.

these are the same devs that hired bubniak for the face model of peter and then replaced him and gave an excuse saying his facial bones didnt align with the voice actors, i bet you believed that too.
