- This might be my most ambitious set of Sonic CD remixes yet. Astute listeners among you may notice some musical Easter eggs in this remix.
I am planning to do the Past, Bad Future, and Good Future, but it will take some time, since I haven't started on any of them yet.

Yes, I do have plans for the Past, Bad Future, and Good Future, but it may be some time before they're uploaded, since I haven't started on any of them yet. Please don't ask when I'm going to do the other time periods. (I'll upload them when I upload them!)

The Saturn portion of the song is almost already bad future-esque with how threatening and ominous it is, which makes sense given the level context as bad futures are basically Eggman’s influence on the zones on crack. Yet, the snippets from the more whimsical Genesis version are clashing with the harsh instruments to show that there’s still hope to change Panic Puppet for the better, either foreshadowing the Good Future or referencing what was lost in the Past.
I like how the GEN versions fit into this, especially the part from Act 1 at 1:22.
The Saturn version really deserved this treatment - it’s so underrated
If this is the Present version it makes me wonder how Bad Future will sound. This already sounds pretty *evil*.
That’s an Eggman-made level for you! But whatever the bad future entails, we can all agree it’s going to be one hell of a banger.

This are a mix of the Sega Saturn version with the Sega Genesis one
Makes me think of Wacky Workbench but even darker. And considering WW BF is downright evil, well...
Pr: After narrowly avoiding having his "As well as his Flicky Pals" genes spliced at the Gene Gadget Zone, Sonic stands at his penultimate challenge he must face to finally rid Flicky Island of Robotnik's Rotten Antics once and for all; The Chaotic Colossus of a factory simply known as The Panic Puppet Zone. Sonic chuckles to himself as thinks "How vain is Robotnik that he has build his factory and satellite both to look like him" as he gets the lead out to do what he always does; Kicks some Robutnik Butt!
Great blend of Saturn and Genesis Panic Puppet.
The fact that this guy is still making sonic remixes to this day is amazing

Silliest stage name, but incredible music (for both versions).
Dude, you as well as the original composer absolutely excelled that piano chords! seen at 0:40 to 1:08 for example. That might actually give Quartz Quadrant Present JP a close competition.

Even if this wasn't a CD style arrangement and you just planned for this to be a one-off, this is a specatcular remix just on its own. As soon as I heard the Genesis songs being added in I knew I was in for something wonderful

Tho, one thing I can already predict? The good future is going to be based off Panic Puppet act 2's. XD
I think the Past should mainly focus on Act 1 of the Genesis version with references towards Sky Sanctuary, but that's just my idea.
People saying this already sounds ominous, maybe. For me it invokes determination, and i feel like that's what present themes should make you feel
You should totally do Past, good and bad future versions of the of the Sega Saturn version of Gene Gadget Zone. Like this legitimately sounds good
If I do Gene Gadget, I'm basing it on the Genesis version. I love the Saturn version, don't get me wrong, but the Genesis version has some of the best music in all of Sonic IMO

Panic Puppet(Present): Looks like Eggman went back to Flicky's Island and started up his base of operations again. With that being said, this time around it's being powered with a Time Stone, allowing for some Time Plates to appear. Maybe you can try to head back into the past and bust that generator...

This one’s a banger, especially next to your other present remixes which are good but generally inferior to the other timezones to me.
@@Leetheslayer Well, my Present "remixes" are usually just straight-up covers of the original song, without much room for creativity. They are often the ones that I enjoy making the least, and the main reason I do is for completion and to provide context for the other remixes (i.e. to give you something to compare the Past and Future remixes to)
Best Track in sonic 3d Blast for me.
I'm trying to imagine how a Bad Future of this might sound when the Present already sounds like a Bad Future of the Genesis tracks. (And before anyone asks yes, I _do_ know it's a mashup with the Saturn version)
HOL' UP, which version of Sonic 3D blast is this based off of? the Saturn, or megadrive? I'm having a hard time telling it apart, other than a leitmotif at the 1:30 mark
@@111riffi This is primarily a cover of Act 1 of the Saturn version, but I did add some musical motifs from Act 1 and Act 2 from the Genesis version

I’ve always found Panic Puppet to be one the strangest level names in Sonic history, if not the strangest. I get the Panic part, that’s probably what’s going through Eggman’s mind when Sonic gets here, but “puppet”? Where does that come into play?
Perhaps the fact that the entire PANIC PUPPET is literally built in the Shape of Eggman? and around it?
