Heh. They changed the voice message puzzle. In the original version you used the scanner to somehow "scan" the cassette tape into the computer. Kathy says something about the scanner having the capacity to scan tapes, which is a totally normal thing. I searched out this video specifically because I was curious if they had changed that. I'm guessing the orignal puzzle was finalised after the art and ui stuff was, so they to make do. Nice to see that's fixed up since otherwise the puzzles are pretty logical.

Managed to finish this game without a walkthrough yay. pretty nice game dont mind the ending - Similar thing with hobs barrow. dont get the complaints. My biggest complaint about this game is probably the lack of an intro sequence if anything. Most point n clicks have a nice animation with close ups at the start or at least some opening credits and a cool theme tune. This was very abrupt and given the games slow start could have used something cool to get you into it.

Someone please help. I've been trying to use the metal detector on the cliff but Kathy just keeps saying "I can't think of a reason to use that metal detector here" whenever i select it. its driving me crazy.

@@noireisbest6786 yup! thank you! a dev told me that too. The issue was I missed the boxes in the storage room. I clicked on "More Boxes" instead of "Boxes"
