Honestly, don’t listen to those “generic” emergency light haters. These units are actually decent and spread light. Not the best brightness but does the job for its cost. Not everyone wants to pay like 70 dollars for a fancy emergency light
Emergency lighting nerd here! I collect all sorts of life safety equipment. Good install, I can tell you that the Lithonia you bought is actually just a generic emergency light rebranded. The commercial electric and lithonia one are almost the exact same thing, both just rebrands.
Yes. I know. Similar, but not interchangeable and sold via large block negotiation and to the distributor/electrical retailer.
There are some high-end, much better looking devices available. But for me, I would rather have that instant on during a storm.
Thanks for watching. And spread the word - get out. That's job 1. Get out. The NFPA had an old video years ago, "Fire Power". It was great at getting to the point. You only have about 90 seconds to "get out". After that - smoke, not fire gets you.
