Just a different power supply I guess. I prefer the modular PSUs because if you don't need a harness, you can leave them out. This one was just a cheap PSU that I could connect to the 4070s and 3060. And in my case (enclosure not predicament) - the factory harness wasn't long enough - or - alternatively, I didn't have a second cable.

@@gunnadair - yeah, I recycled a non modular as you saw. I used it today, got the label (program) up there, setting up UPS to print just the label to the 4x6. It's working well. I was going to, maybe I did, do a video on the fans (number, placement, etc.) and it's - I think effectively silent at idle and the roaster and related software are not demanding so even working it's quiet. I hope you enjoy your case as much as I do. I think it's (getting to be rare as hen's teeth) a case actually worth the money. I think there are some cheaper cases but there's none of the "Erector Set" building of the case like so many iTX cases and a little smaller than similar mATX cases. One thing I didn't show, you know these things can get so long, the bracket I hung the SATA SSD can take 2. On the interim PC while I wait to finish the custom loop upstairs, I pulled the new 240GB Team group ($17 on Amazon), and replaced it downstairs with a Crucial T500 I think it was. So, I imaged the 8 year old 120GB on to the 240 and both are inside the Jonsplus. I had a disk utility say the health of the old drive was 64%. I have not had any errors on it, it doesn't look like it was having any errors logged - I think the utility just rated it down because of 8 years of Powered Up time. Since both are system drives, I left the old mounted - just unplugged it. M.2s are the way to go if your PG can take one. But if you don't have a drive to periodically back all your data and stuff, the older and slower SATA SSDs are pretty cheap. I have a Peerless Assassin on the 12th gen z90 PG down, and in that one a Phantom Spirit SE. I can't really compare the two coolers, as you know Assassin is 6 pipe and the Spirit is 7. I rather suspect they added an extra heat pipe because the Phantom Spirit has less fun area at the bottom for more room for DRAM or I/IO heatsink clearance. For anyone who may read our thread, if they haven't made a decision on an air cooler, that little "what's the difference between" question might be helpful. I am pretty "function first (style second)" kind of guy. I almost wish I got the orange and black to sorta look like it was made for the roaster. But at the time - I was ill as a wet hornet that whole week/or two - whatever it was. But yes, thanks for the comment. And good luck assembling. Just don't forget that the PSU bracket has to come out to slide out the upper fan tray.

@@RaphaelSwinkels - I can't remember which processor is in this video. I do have (the original one that came in this Corsair case) is 7700 but not a K - not unlocked. The CPU sitting in that same case is unlocked - it's a 12700K. And it's finally at max ratios but undervolted pretty well. I don't have the floating point extended instructions on If I use XTU on the 12th gen at auto set - it gets hot when running CB 24 and thermal throttles. In real life, I don't see high temperatures. So I have it running on air, I used recommended settings, saved, then turned off the floating point instruction set. I don't really need them. Took notes. Reset to the defaults and slowly walked the voltage down and ratios up over a couple of weeks. I don't keep the room cold it sits in. Normally 77°F. Where it is set today, the ratios are 50, 39. It is undervolted pretty aggressively - at least more than I would think I would feel comfortable. AVX512 instructions, as I meantioned, are off. The power limits are up and using Cinebench 24 It's stable and back to 1150 - 1160 +/- maybe a 91, 92ish° on core 5 I think it is. It's always a hot spot. Another core gets warm too, can't remember which one. Air gets up benchmarking but it's not too loud rendering a video. The software will not use full GPU, CPU or memory. CPU will hit 57°C ISH. GPU doesn't heat up because there is no RT or Shader cores. Haven and Furmark will warm it up, but even it OCed, fans are not too noisy.

@@ElGoogKO I wish it shipped with an optional panel like the back. I agree, I don't really get the RGB bit. Especially if it doesn't run off the MB. It's faff, and I think, it looks a little silly to me - like the builder is wasting money that could quite possibly, make the PC faster, better and/or stronger than it is. If it's their thing, then go for it but it doesn't accomplish anything. Sometimes, it can make it run hotter by creating internal turbulence and eddies/hot spots. Being different - to me - still has value to individuals.

@@nbrown5907 Microsoft forces it and the right vertical bar on computers. Did you know, that as of the last 10 - 15 years, that unless you turn off the power supply and your computers are not "sleeping" - IF YOUR COMPUTER is attached to the/a network - it can be turned on remotely. The original form first showed up on "certified enterprise equipment" (from memory that's what they called it). It was a feature called WOL (or wake on lan). Employees could leave and shutdown their computers and we (net admin) could push updates and changes even if it was turned off (but power was still on at the power switch). Later after WiFi was invented, a wireless version was developed. You can Google it if you want. But when you see the switch in the network setting - take note of how deceptively they named it. I could be mistaken or misremembering.

@@nbrown5907 Windows 11? BitLocker encryption is enabled by default in Windows 11 23H2. Starting with Windows 11 24H2, BitLocker encryption is automatically activated during clean installs and system upgrades to version 24H2. By forcing Windows 10 to end of life, people will most likely move to Win 11 which with the help of TPM, will encrypt their drives. There is I gigantic random key - which if you forget it or want to move it to another PC, you will not be able to (because it will be encoded and, well, locked). Microsoft will keep a backup on your now mandatory Microsoft account (so you will, whether you want to or not, have a Microsoft email with your private information which Microsoft wants - or, you won't get a working computer. If Bitlocker is on, Microsoft - for all intents and purposes - owns it and will graciously allow you access as long as you comply. "You will own nothing and be happy..." You don't own your own personal information. How far from 1984 do you think we actually are? Cancel culture is pretty much un-personing. Tech with the party, media and proxies are pretty much the Ministry of Truth. I don't want to be fitted for a tin foil hat but y'all did see what they did 2018 on, and c0v:d... They decided what information you would hear, called millions non-essential, track you with the phone. Do you know about Geo fencing and geo timing being added to automobiles? Well, basically it (in phones) can be used to turn your alarm off as you arrive home and on when you leave. Sounds great right? But it can actually track you. And adding these two features to your autos, well, it's basically an ankle monitor for your car. And, could be used like a shock collar and invisible fence. Remote deactivation and active location of your car is great if a thief steals it - but, that same tech can restrict your movement in both time and space (you know, crazy talk, like the government decides you are "non-essential.").

Unfortunately my original channel leans politically right and 5 or so years ago, I was shadow banned. I used to pop right up by the initials. RUclips gave me a strike for an audio recording of a nightingale which would not shut up which was captured on video camera. They would not hear me, they just put me and my channel down. When you draw attention from the cancel culture - there's little you can do. @@RobloxLive9543 - I would have been surprised if it wasn't possible. But to be most honest, I almost exclusively use my app. Not the Honeywell app but I have few Lutron devices, a couple of lamp controllers, eve and over the parking area and their app allows integration. It's pretty indispensable now. If I am away from home, I can bump it up or down, monitor the house. It's a different product but I also have two different home camera systems. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. Being as I am the poor one in the family, I don't have lake houses like all of them. One of them spends quite a bit of time at the lake and wanted to keep his eye on the main house. I assisted him. A couple months later, I heard one of the other brothers who still spends more time at home, camera uped (not a real word) his lake house. I'm far from "remote controlled window shades" but I do enjoy my thermostats. (This dang thermostat has cost me a lot of money!) Thanks for watching and the comment.

@@kwirkLAThe price for a new table would be hard to beat. Like others have complained in their reviews, mine was damaged too. I bought a second bottom shelf and top shelf. Everything was slightly damaged but it’s working fine. I’m thinking if it’s possible for you to search for used tables or tables from a surplus commercial supply may get a better deal.

Every comparable gauge/type of steel table is twice the cost and I hate dealing with FedEx cause they seem to be allergic to delivering things when they say they will. I've been keeping an eye out for used tables for a while now but I might just end up rolling the dice

@@juansanchez-kg2to - You will smell and taste the glue/joint solvent immediately after installation but it goes away. Copper is good but expensive and labour intensive. But it's subject to MIC in the right circumstances. It's bad for well systems because it's a reactive metal. It's subject to both organic and inorganic reaction. PEX is subject to getting brittle over time and each connection causes dynamic pressure drops (when water flows it causes eddys (maybe Eddie's sp?) like a creek or river). Now, they can address that by using a manifold system, but unless you can run the PEX over or under the structure - it can take a lot of drilling in floors and ceilings. Copper doesn't do well with freezing, stuff can grow on the surface of PEX. It very much is a "pick your poison" kind of thing. There are glues that don't require priming the CPVC. They don't stink as long after installation and are one step fewer.

Life is short - have a little fun! Yeah, it can be frustrating to be excited to get a home machine and if you get one like the Breville Touch (I think one of the newest ones) like (coincidence - the brother and his wife got one for Christmas) - they are not cheap. So there you are, with a big shiny thing on the kitchen counter - mocking you! "Bwahaha! You are mine - I am your master." Naw... Just a coffee maker. But it can grow into a nice hobby of sorts. Once you get your gear, a few toys to experiment with, it's just coffee. I have an advantage that I am single and don't do milk drinks. So all I need is the engine. Well, the filling station (grinder) too. They live on different parts of the counter - so it works for me. I think if ever I need to get into milk drinks, I think I'll get a pitcher. You don't have to break the bank to make good espresso at home. Nor do you have to be a rocket surguriouriest! I have a new burr grinder and it probably took a bag of coffee to kinda get it and the Bambino on the same page. I got the water right and get a 1:2+/- on 12 seconds. Step to 11 it pulls a little long, step 13 or 14 and it pulls a short shot. All pretty good (for a home body). I would encourage people who just got a machine to get a small set of scales when they first start just to get the basic ratios, or the neighborhood of... And to not get discouraged. Don't let a machine or people intimidate you!

Code calls for arc fault on single pole 120v 15amp and 20amp. A double pole/common trip arc fault is not required by code. If you have need for a double pole, you would have to buy a double pole arc fault. In Tennessee, you must have a factory double pole. The state will not allow two separate breakers to be tied together. A tandem is fed off the same leg so it cannot produce 220v. It could only produce 110v twice or parallel paths. A tandem is 2 single poles. If you are upgrading an existing panel that has 1 piece of #12 NMB with the red as one circuit and the black as another both sharing a common neutral, doing so on a tandem will put both circuits amperage on the white wire (there is no phase difference on a tandem). Consult with an electrician to sort all that out. Best to you

Yes. I know. Similar, but not interchangeable and sold via large block negotiation and to the distributor/electrical retailer. There are some high-end, much better looking devices available. Smoke alarms are ugly and cheap but they save lives. Form follows function. If it illuminates my way so I can escape in an emergency - BEAUTIFUL!

This is the "basic" for what that is worth, you might want to go on to Honeywell's sight and use their application. That way you can be assured you have the best possible match of thermostat to your need. I myself, could have used another heat stage. But I wanted them to match.

A salt system (softener) doesn't get rid of salt or any mineral and you are adding salt. What it does is break the salt (generally sodium chloride) into positive and negative ion. The the sodium and chlorine ions are more attractive to other salts dissolved in water. So these table-salt ions break up the others and make a different salt - say calcium carbonate is then broken. There are two types of kidney stones that I know of - the old gout stones or uric acid stones and calculi (calcium stones). Now I don't run a softener myself - I don't want to be drinking that much sodium. And, 100% of the calcium remains - just in a different form. And we know that new form doesn't build scale up on our plumbing fixtures. But I have never looked, never need to, to see if salt softening our water prevents kidney stones. An RO system removes all minerals - good and bad ones. That's why we don't drink demineralized RO water exclusively.
