May sound cringey but this is childhood trauma. You only know anger and violence, but then when he sees the man he learnt from it confuses him and makes him realise theres other ways to cope and deal with it..... Clearly being shocked his dad was calm which calmed him down... Shame really.
@blizzard6741 I get that, Im not soft on my children but when they do things wrong I explain what they've done wrong, the consequences it has and so on, so they very rarely see me switching, and my mom nickname for me is " tempa " so that should show how I deal with my children totally different to anyone else. I do understand you can't get too soft or Molly coddle your children, well I don't anyway.
He’s a grown adult mate, if he didn’t want to associate with Jos then he wouldn’t. Max is direct and says it how it is. If he reflects on his upbringing and doesn’t like what he remembers, he wouldn’t want him around
@@blizzard6741 I fully agree. My children know it's all about winning, not that " it's the taking part that counts " crap.... But I always show my children to deal with upsets and downfalls without pure anger, even though anger and frustration is fine, but it's how you express that without being a prick.
Look it made him a successful champion in the end. How many kids with childhood trauma joined gangs, became lost in life or still towards a bottomless pit?
@@qwertuiop1 yeah, i hate seeing people victimise max and portraying jos as some abusive father. He devoted his life to his son’s passion and talent. Lost his wife in the process and didn’t get to spend much time with his daughter. He was hard on max, yes. Something more fathers should do, because most kids nowadays don’t feel anything bad. It’s good for kids to feel some hard emotions be sad, angry and scared. And then i mean normal “life” stuff, not about losing your iPad or not getting candy. The way boys are raised now, you don’t if they will be a man when they are 18 years old or a female or something in between.
when the wdc is at risk and you fail to qualify because of a dumb idiot trust me you ll destroy the house not only your room. Stop talking shit when you probably cant even drive hotwheels
Jos calm? Well that's a first 😂
