What brain? Joking. Thanks for amazing videos. I am an adult going back to college and I took only one college level English class previously because I did good on my placement test. This however, wasn’t very exciting since I literally did get to brainstorm or summarize or anything of that foundational stuff. Your videos are helping me understand the basics of writing. Thank you.
I think it depends on the type of Essay. Venn diagram and T-chart are good for comparison/contrast while clustering type is good for cause and effect and opinion essays.
I'm an English teacher in Japan. Your videos are really educational and helpful. I'd love to learn a lot by watching them and write better English. I'm grateful that I came across your channel. Thank you. Yukiko
This is brilliant a video. Really worth watching for it contains information that you could find in other sources but what you can't get from there is the way to teach these ideas this way. 💖💖
Hi, this is amazing. Please make a video to brainstorm in PTE essay. Since there are only 20 minutes to write PTE essay, it is very difficult to manage that time very well. However, we only need to write 200-300 words. Still, it is bit difficult. Please!!!
Thanks for your suggestion. I am not familiar with PTE essays. I would suggest practicing with a timer at home and brainstorm 2 basic ideas that you can develop in your essay. For each idea, think of 1 good supporting detail.
Dear Ma´am Teacher. Well appreciated your lesson. Thanks. I prefer the Venn - Diagramm. I am a Cambridge Advanced Student and will sit an exam at the beginning of December 2021. I am from Germany. Warm Greetings.
Thank you Professor ! another amazing video !!! My favorite type of brainstorming in actually the clustering method. I am a visual person, so it will help a lot!
That's a common challenge. I usually tell people that coming up with ideas requires two things. First, you have to learn more to get more ideas. Try to read, discuss, and expose yourself to more topics in order to get more information, which can help you have more ideas. Second, you need to practice. The more you do it, the easier it will be to come up with ideas. Good luck! 😃
You can do it! Good luck! You might find this video helpful, too. ruclips.net/video/4EYq9qbZmLM/видео.html But most importantly, just believe in yourself and know that you have all the English skills to do it 💕
Practice! I will make a video about how to take ideas and organize them for writing (or presentations), but for now, practice brainstorming and then organizing those ideas into sections that you could use for an essay or presentation.
Teacher can I ask you a question. When you are going to apply to a master degree . They ask you for an essay. What kind of essay is that one? I mean the name. Thanks 🙏. Wonderful teacher.
I really appreciate these tips. As a student of ILETS, what do you recommend how to use complex vocabulary in my conversation or writing? I have lots of vocab but am unable to use it accurately. Please suggest some tips!
Great question. The best way is to make a list of words that you're trying to learn, look them up in an ESL dictionary (like Longman) and get good example sentences, and then use them in your speaking or writing until you feel comfortable with them. The example sentences from a dictionary or ChatGPT are really helpful. Also, try to understand how the new word is similar and different to its synonyms.
Thank you so much professor 🙏🏻❤️It was really useful for me,about your question I should say that l love all of way to brainstorm because I understood well and can write about all of them and now it's not hard for me🤍😍
