      What brain? Joking. Thanks for amazing videos. I am an adult going back to college and I took only one college level English class previously because I did good on my placement test. This however, wasn’t very exciting since I literally did get to brainstorm or summarize or anything of that foundational stuff. Your videos are helping me understand the basics of writing. Thank you.

    Very helpful, thanks Teacher. But, how to find ideas in essay writing. Most of the time, I go blank in my mind. 😂

    • @LearnAcademicEnglish
      @LearnAcademicEnglish  5 месяцев назад +1

      That's a common challenge. I usually tell people that coming up with ideas requires two things. First, you have to learn more to get more ideas. Try to read, discuss, and expose yourself to more topics in order to get more information, which can help you have more ideas. Second, you need to practice. The more you do it, the easier it will be to come up with ideas.
      Good luck! 😃

      Practice! I will make a video about how to take ideas and organize them for writing (or presentations), but for now, practice brainstorming and then organizing those ideas into sections that you could use for an essay or presentation.

    I really appreciate these tips. As a student of ILETS, what do you recommend how to use complex vocabulary in my conversation or writing? I have lots of vocab but am unable to use it accurately. Please suggest some tips!

    • @LearnAcademicEnglish
      @LearnAcademicEnglish  11 месяцев назад +1

      Great question. The best way is to make a list of words that you're trying to learn, look them up in an ESL dictionary (like Longman) and get good example sentences, and then use them in your speaking or writing until you feel comfortable with them. The example sentences from a dictionary or ChatGPT are really helpful.
      Also, try to understand how the new word is similar and different to its synonyms.
