Today while it may not be the most popular video, I need to remove the aftermarket radio from the buick Lucerne. I talked about selling this when I finished the SS and we are very close. In this video I show you how to remove the radio in your Buick Lucerne and replace. This process is the same if installing an aftermarket radio.

I have a 09 Buick Lucerne CX. Just bought 2 12s and a pioneer amp. I plan on letting the shop install it but what radio would u recommend buying to install?? Or which one did you have in this one?

i have a 2008 and my front speakers usually don’t come on but sometimes they come on. could this problem be solved by reseating the wiring in the back of the radio or does it sound more serious?
Doubt that will fix it. Probably blown speakers.
I just bought a 2008 cxl with a 3.8 could I just install a blue tooth head unit and leave the speakers? Or if I did speakers what would you suggest. Also do I need any adapters.

I am having an issue with my Buicks radio, it just turned off along with all the car noises. should I just jump to buying a new radio or should I try to fix it? I have already looked at the fuse, and battery. I have not taken the radio out yet to check the wiring. Any suggestions would be great.
All the sounds come through the radio. I would look at replacing.
I have the exact same car that i just recently purchased and my front speakers only works sometimes.....Its really weird,any ideas what i could check for if i pull the radio out?

where did you get that wire harness to hook directly to the original radio harness? I have been looking for one and cant find one. It looks like i might have to spice the wires which is a job figuring out, Let me know if available for the direct harness, Thanks

Hey man. I've been looking into getting a new radio and speakers in my 07 lucerne. Do you have any videos or can you make one on like how you ran the microphone wire? And how to get all the wires to work without soldering? (I don't have a soldering gun nor do I know how to even use one). Would be greatly appreciated
I actually sold this or I would. Use good crimp connectors for wiring. Microphone goes behind trim on driver side. You can tuck in behind the door seal.

I inherited my mom's 2008 Lucerne...looks just like this inside. My issue is: the back speakers work fine. the front ones kind of ..don't. ONCE or twice they came on(had the volume way up) and startled the liver out of me.. it's almost like a loose wire or connection, I'm thinking... any suggestions ??? I'm 63 and don't have anyone to help..so if it might be simple..I could tackle it

I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth and door alert on my 2011 Lucerne. They started sounding very muffled most of the time. Occasionally, they sounded normal. Over the past several months, normal sounds are very rare. All the other sounds are great and seem to be coming from all speakers. I am curious about the little black device you mentioned that you used with the aftermarket system. What would you recommend to troubleshoot and fix the problem? Your video was great.
If it has an aftermarket radio that black box is for the chime noises. If not I would say your speaker is shot

Do you know what the igition wire is not on the wiring harness. I bought a bad harness and it runs the ignition wire on the new head unit to nothing.

I have a 2010 Lucerne and my radio signal gets better or worse if I hit a bump or turn on a defroster, or turn signal or turn my wheel, or when the auto lights come on, I get a whine out of one station. Is my radio messed up or is there like a loose connection

Hey I know this video is old but I have the exact same car ..or so I think they are mine is a 2006 buick lucerne cxl v6 and im trying to currently put in a after market radio in and I see u had to buy a new harness??So the radio doesn't cum with the harness??Can u tell me what harness u had to get for the aftermarket radio to work for plug and play???Thanks so much
The harness is so you don't have to cut the factory one to install

Putting in a radio what wire is your power wire you had to hook up to as you know there is no red power wire from factory harness
