Just finished playing this gem of a game again. Its sad that on my pacifist play through, where I killed no one except granny rags (to save slackjaw), Martin and Pendleton both still end up dead :( Its kind of a shame how we have to go through all the trouble to save martain and he ends up dead, and that pendleton's brothers survive while he ends up dead. :(
They all die regardless of your actions, I checked. Martin, Lydia, Wallace and Trevor die in any scenario. In low chaos, admiral kills them by either shooting or poisoning servants and allies. In high chaos, Martin shoots himself, Trevor dies by a stray bullet, and Havelock jumps off the lighthouse. Pretty much shows you that no matter how good you are, there are people who are much worse. At least four loyalists die in low chaos. Trevor, Martin, Wallace and Lydia. In high chaos there are two more, Callista who is killed by admiral and Havelock himself. Don't fell sorry, it's the way reality in this game works. Savage, but brilliant
Idk, Martin seems for me, as one of the best from this trio. Even in the end he tries to be manly, standing near with people-utilizating machine, named Korvo Attano.

The Pendleton brothers aren't exactly living in luxury though
@@sirmoppington74 I wouldn't call that "living"
Why? Those two bastards betray you regardless of what you do.
