Yep we have these but they tend to accelerate the mill into the log - either the skids need to be much longer or you need a rail attached to the log - we are working on both!
Yea yea! Nice Sawing Action. Can i ask you which Trailer you are Using? Im looking for one but the cheap ones on Ebay look pretty fragile. Greetings from Germany
Very cool setup!
I've heard of some chainsaw mills using plastic rollers rather then skids.
Think of very large roller skate wheels

Yes we have those but you almost need the friction of the skids against the log or the saw tends to fly into the wood and bogs down.
I only heard one chainsaw engine running. Are you using both, or just one plus the additional oil and weight from a second powerhead?
what kind of mill are you using? doesnt look like a grandberg mk, something you made? the rail system looks different also
It's half Granberg half hybrid mill! We will soon be bringing out our own chainsaw mills so watch this space (and subscribe to this channel!)
It's a Granberg hybrid with a few parts upgarded....
What is the size you used aluminum frame, is it 30x30 or 40x40 frame

@@chainsawbars that's the smallest, orangest ms880 I've ever seen if that's the case
@@longbarmillworks8147 Maybe you haven't seen many 880s then ;) I have!
@@chainsawbars looks like a 660 on the left and a husky on the right...
@@chainsawbars 3:50. That's a 660. Says right on it. The other is a husky.
