Like I assume they’re not writing their own stuff necessarily but their ability to tap into their own vocal flow is wild to me. This video is so important to me, mostly because groups in East/Southeast Asia don’t take rap seriously (it’s often relegated to a member of an idol group who can’t contribute vocally but honestly is usually lacking the technical prowess to rap competently). It’s a craft just like singing and yes, girls can do it just as skillfully as men can. I think this song will inspire others to get up on stage and show everyone what their pen can do. There are so many different flows here that showcase the wide range of rapping styles and techniques that are out there as well!
