This is by far one of the most educative rc airbrush related channels, thank you! You explain everything very detailed (many forget) and in a calm way so it's easy to understand, even for someone who's mother tongue ain't English. I got myself a descent airbrush and I will paint 1/10 offroad bodies in particular. The thing I struggle the most with is finding a good paint scheme... I'm not into the flame-ish style. I like more the onroad layout like used on touring cars (the one you used for the 1/12 GT in grey is awesome). I will watch the rest of your video's to prepare myself so I can start painting this weekend 🤞🏻😊 . Keep up the great work and thanks again!
Excited to see what cintent you put out... im pretty new to airbrushing amd painting RC cars. I actually have a bunch of folk art and other similar paints that i use on miniatures, and i hope to see how you use them with your airbrush as that might be helpful for me even if not applied to RC bodies. Cheers
Thanks for starting this channel love your work, and never even thought of using clear coat over lighter colors before spraying the darker color not new to airbrushing rc car bodies waiting for your next content thanks again for this channel🎉🎉
You probably need to disassemble your airbrush and clean it, specifically the nozzle and behind the nozzle (in the airbrush itself) with brushes. Paint likes to build up there if you don't stay on top of your cleaning
@@broccli2007 i did it countless times ! in fact it is a brand new gun that i never got to work properly. i'm using proline paint. at this point i'm ready to buy the paintgun you think is the bast.
@@stephanez8036 ahhh gotcha, I'm using an iwata eclipse with a 0.5mm nozzle and needle. I'm no expert in the hardware but it's been great, I've also had good luck with the iwata neo and the master airbrush m22. I've heard good things about badger airbrushes but never used one either. I run my eclipse at around 15-25psi my other ones tend to run a little higher

I sometimes spray the inside of the body with a clear pearl. Then I paint over that and gives it a subtle pearl effect.
subbed ! i would love to know the best paintgun for beginners. i can't get mine to work properly, it sprays a very small amount of paint

@@stephanez8036 The Proline paint is pretty thick. Have you tried adding a few drops of thinner?
Thanks for watching. I will do a video on what airbrushes and compressors I use. Also recommendations for beginners.
