I got free tickets for GWAR back in the early 90's by winning a belching contest at a bar in Dallas, it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. RIP Dave, you were one of a kind.
Totally agree he's usually way over the top extreme human killer I've also seen several interviews where he talks about Overdosing onheroin he will be missed
Wow, very interesting point of views. Perhaps similar to many ones, but Brockie just had his own unique spin on it. I love his comment on Little Richards and why it scared parents so much back then. It's very interesting to me to see certain rock legends have a pretty in-depth love and respect for the guy. It also makes me happy that he had such a hard on for Rammstein.
Miss you Dave! I saw you in 2003. Had school the next day. Was one of the best shows i’ve been too. Went to school green 😝 I’m glad i got to see you one last time in 2012. I still look back at your interviews for a laugh/smile. RIP
I saw them in '94 in Columbus, OH and loved it. Front stage right, what a blast! Oderus (DB) was super intelligent and artistic genius. So sad he left us early :(
I would love to see Banger put up any additional footage from the Rammstein interview for "Metal Evolution." I love those weirdos and I love Banger productions. They've made fantastic productions and I always look forward to their content
Got to see them for the first time at warped tour a few years ago or so. Unfortunately it was after oderus as the front man but rather the new front man which wasn't the same but the show was pretty good. I got soaked with blue alien blood. 😁👍
I really miss ODERUS UNRUNGUS.AKA DAVE BROCKIE, they still roll without this crazy loveable pissed creature. nothing like GWAR they started this shock rock genre that ppl are copying to this day. we will see ODERUS/DAVE BROCKIE again. death is only a transition to spirit.
It's a shame that they weren't bigger. There is no better band out there at doing covers. Still sounded like GWAR too. Even the goofy shit is so damn good.
I've seen GWAR with Oderus a couple times through the early 00s and in the early 2010s. It was a totally different level we'll never get back to. I've seen GWAR several times since Dave Brockie passed and its still amazing but Dave was a force of his own.

This is the most honest Oderus interview I've ever heard.

Do it now. Blothar is a fucking awesome replacement.
@@glurganergc4856 Blothar is a fat fuck that can hardly move around the stage
@@ThorCarlton True, but who better than former Beefcake?
@@robdiesel1579 I mean, it's cool that he returned. I just don't view him as a very good frontman for such an energetic live show
you must be used to listening to rap "artists" talk or something..
I miss this guy a lot, RIP Oderus!
My tears still flow ....
I seen them at the Town and Country Club in London in the '90s - the looks I got on the tube train on the way home was hilarious - R.I.P. DB.

He should have got more footage like this in Headbangers Journey.
Such a passionate and intelligent man. Watch him interview with a complete nut sake but Dave turned it around and really entertained and educated
a serious oderus interview weird

None but the brave...🤘

What is wrong with Sam Dunn's left hand? It seems much shorter or something. Just curious, if anyone knows....

He sounds like Cool Cat.
He was. and extremely intelligent as well. They would hang out and drink with the fans after the shows.
