Knitted Knockers were such a wonderful idea. A lot of local yarn shops here in the States do knit alongs during the year to send them to the program. If people are going to mail them to you I would recommend not stuffing them as it is easier to mail. Also, there is a crochet pattern as well available on the website for those who don’t knit or prefer hooking. I’ve done both.

I really enjoyed the festival, congratulations on a brilliant event. I would love a spinning workshop next year, thinking it would be fun to try.

I love ginger needles, so lovely to knit with. Workshops next year sounds amazing, I would certainly be interested in spinning. Well done on organising a fantastic event, can't have been easy with life stuff going on at the same time ❤
You could zig zag the edges on your machine. :). I serge because I have one and I hate the rats nest but a zig zag will have the same result.

What was absolutely wonderful , as a volunteer, was to see the willingness of the spouses to lend a general hand and give a dig out where needed, rather than just confine their help to their beloveds. Treasured memories.

Lovely visit - sounds like the festival was a success. I love the fabric that you’ve picked up, I’m trying to get back into quilting/sewing more. I’ve completed the knockers in the past - my own battle with breast cancer did not have me losing a breast - but I have a friend who did.
It’s so nice to get into sewing when you have time!

I have been waiting to hear how let’s knit went. I so wanted to go but not long after second hip replacement & not driving so missed the great occasion. Heard wonderful reports & so delighted for you both & everyone involved Congratulations to you all. Maybe next year PG.
