Yay for TAAT anything- socks, mitts, sleeves- the only way to go. As to routine and finding time for yourself- a wise friend once told me that when the child sleeps or is out with someone else, that is your time for yourself, not the time to clean the kitchen etc, you can do that when the child is underfoot! So carry on, love the Arachne sweater.

Between my mother and father their was 17 siblings. All the children swapped clothes around. Most of the mothers knitted or could sew. They often want to jumble sales in schools or churches. Often my mother would by large adult clothes and make clothes for us. When I had my daughter most of my cousins whom I swapped clothes with , we continued to swap for our own too. We also went to car boots or charity shops. I still do and so does my daughter. My nans moto was mend and make do or swap and share

Hello Grace! I haven’t watched a knitting podcast in a couple years (life) but was so glad to sit and enjoy yours while I picked up my knitting again to work on a design for the first time in a very long time! So great to see you! ❤❤❤

I hate slieve island😢. I have just finished a sweater for a toddler, I brought it to work and did them on my breaks over the week. Finished in 4 days(full length, a whole 7"😅😅).❤

I’m pumping on my breaks but also started a new job which is more computer based so I end up working through my breaks 🫣

@GraceTheBabbler you should never work through your break. Your entitled to them. You are also more productive after you have had one😁 . I've just got accommodation in doolin for let's knit 🥰. I'm so looking forward to it. I'm now looking up Pattern's and gift ideas for Christmas 🎄 ✨️
