Despite his reputation as being one of, if the not the, toughest badass in wrestling, Haku seems like a real gentlemanly person who'd be great to hang out with.
Haku deserves everything that comes his way.. When I had a picture & autograft from him he was just the gentleman & down to earth person as you see... If this world had more Hakus’ It would be a better world..

Everybody has said Haku is a nice, kind person. And everyone also said not to ever make fun of him, his race, his family, or the occupation of wrestling. Especially if he has more than a few drinks in him already....

I've always thought Vince missed the 💰 with that story line. That was a generational story. He would be more relevant today. Because the names carried. Haku. Rock. Rocky. High Chief. Yokozuna. The Usos. Roman. Etc...

I love Haku’s laugh. It’s so genuine and a mile away from what he used to be in the ring. Awesome guy.
Haku was and still is one of my favorites. It's very interesting that seeing brotha Haku he would seem like a rough houser by appearance but hearing him talk you feel a very positive god faithful man. Like talking with that close relative. May god continue to bless my brother and thank you Haku for your legendary wrestling career.

I use to workout at the same mom and pop gym as Haku. He is the nicest guy. Spent half his gym time saying hello and shaking hands.
If I ever needed someone as back up in a fight, it would definitely be Haku.

Everyone going on about how tough Meng is/was...WE KNOW! What is overlooked is how good he was as a worker. He could take a bump, but also his incorporating martial arts into WWF as he did was sensational. He never got a huge push as he wasn't great on the mic and wasn't marketable. I am glad he at least got King of the Ring and a tag team belt.

Funny you should mention... That scar Haku has on his shoulder was from a shark bite when he was still living in Tonga as a youngster. He responded by gouging the shark's eyes out, killing it with his bare hands. It's mentioned in Chris Jericho's book.
