Andre lived like there was no tomorrow. Go to the matches, go to the bars/nightlife. Ric has lived his business and in what made him popular, often at the expense of his family. He knows that, Andre knew his status and had no family to go home to. Andre needed to just show up for his bookings, that was about all there was to it. His matches would not go 60 minutes either. Flair was in phenomenal shape, he knew how to take bumps and falls, he knew the psychological aspect, he knew how to work. Work the match or fill the time, how to sell, how to put on the show. When Flair was champ, his matches were about taking bumps, selling, and having a finish that kept the belt on him. Chasing Flair for the gold was much more interesting and profitable for much longer periods of time then continually having him drop the belt for those single night big pops from the crowd it would get. Pro Wrestling is about a show that continues even though storylines will end. Part of making the money is to keep it going continuously. The Four Horseman was such a genius creation because it added to the number of "run ins" and multiple finishes to matches to entertain fans with the baby faces but at the same time keep that belt on Flair. Cheering for the baby face that wins by DQ keeps the belt on Flair and fans go home happy. That more less was the high spots. Not matches full of fast paced movement and nothing but high impact spots. Redundancy is now a problem, using all your moves too quickly in today's product. Too many matches look the same. Roman Reigns and his run with Heyman and that Bloodline faction has slowed that pace a bit which was sorely needed even though members seem to keep turning on each other. Uso brothers, etc.
