  • In this video we will design, build and test a DIY Yagi Antenna for foxhunting. This is the second video in a series of building Fox Hunting RF Direction Finding Equipment in preparation of doing a fox hunt with the local ham club. With the last video showing the fox hunt.

    Square Tubing :
    I Picked up the thin wall 3/4 tubing at Home Depot.
    Arrows : Any aluminum arrow shaft with the thread insert already pressed into it.

    All of your measurements are in inches?? Your 3dm file, what is that?? Can you also post it in your drop box??

      Thanks for the questions,
      1 - Yes it is in inches.
      2 - It is a cad file only relevant to my paid for cad package. This is why I provided a clear screen capture @ 10:20 so everyone would have all the measurements.

      is that 3/4 inch square tubing?

      I updated the comments of the video with a dropbox link to the 3d files. The tubing was thin wall 3/4" from Home Depot.
      The arrows are any aluminum shaft arrow with the threaded insert already pressed into it unless you have the equipment to do it which I did not.

      Yes the thin wall not the 1/8" walls.
