- Melbourne punks Camp Cope dropped by the Rolling Stone office so singer/guitarist Georgia Maq could perform a stripped-back solo version of the confessional "Done" from their self-titled debut album.
I feel like she could sing any pop-punk song from the late 90s-00s I couldn't stand and make me love them. Just blown away by how imperfectly perfect her harmonies are. I don't know how to describe it but the perfect combo of harmony and rasp.
Georgia mac, I'm so in love with your music.
It's almost a shame that this solid gold Australian classic came so early in the career. It's going to be hard to replicate the raw intensity and honesty of this track, drawn from whatever influences and life experience occurred till this point. Whatever happens, I hope this is always played at their gigs (along with Lost: season one of course).
Amazing set of pipes!
One of the best voices I've heard in a long time.
Mitch Gibson I agree mate, great voice 🍻
It's incredible how she sounds almost exactly the same as the studio recording.
Sounds as good live as it did recorded, which is to say amazing.
Owen Hennessy they recorded the album in a day and a half.
It was the hardest ground that I had ever walked on
And just like everybody I kept on walking on
There was a man in the park and he was lying down
Oh, he could have been dead
Oh, he could have been dead
But, just like everybody, I kept on walking on
Pretend not to notice the body on the lawn
He could have gotten up when I had gone
And just like everybody, he could’ve kept on walking on
Walking on
He could have kept on walking on
And I thought to myself
“Hey, there was probably something I should have done”
And I still walk with the fire
It’s not the one that’s burning inside her
And she came to me, on pages and stolen stationary
And she told me she was sorry
That this was some strange irony
That we got so estranged
Yet ended up in the exact same place
The exact same place
Ended up in the exact same place
And I just wanted to say that I only wanted to be like you, because
Sister, I admired you and you gave up and said
“You know, I'm sorry for everything I’ve done”
And sometimes I don’t wanna see my friends
And it don’t have to mean anything
Feel the slow acceleration, feel the
Heavy implications of
Skin on skin
Did you notice it when you grew
Into me like I grew into you?
And I surrendered my loneliness to you
And you said something along the lines of “I love you”
And I probably took it the wrong way
And you came back and said
“Hey, I was looking for a reason to leave
And it’s you
And it’s you”
she's got a really unique sound, i think she has so much promise as an artist
She's already delivered

I wish australia would quit worshiping DJs and start appreciating real artists and music like this.
There are so many good artists coming out of Australia, and especially Melbourne, at the moment. Like Courtney Barnett and Julia Jacklin and now Camp Cope. So good. Reminds me that it all began with Nick Cave and Boys Next Door.
She is beautiful... Oh and the music too...
for sure man lol
bak watching this vid just curious is that a kc jag/stang shape ??
1:23 lol
"i think i love you" Ditto.
Usually not a big fan of female vocalists (sorry ladies), but she is absolutely awe-strikingly incredible.
Smashing. Worth licking for sure. Like good BBQ. Smoke will always find an opening. And it did.
...It's just Georgia. I need the drums and everything else
you mean...a bass? that's the only other thing
sounds a little like a female version of Paul Dempsey
wtf!?!
