This is somewhat sounding like "witch hunt". I mean if section 16 of chapter 2 Bill of Rights states otherwise. Its funny how his on an interview with journalist! 😂 Running company based on publishing and broadcasting information. Its similar to using Applications since its 4IR. Civil claim (people rarely get money because personality right does not amount to an economic value unless you can prove beyond reasonable doubt), understanable but interfering with "labour laws" legislation undermining the "Constitution" section 16.
I understand the argument but regulating Freedom of Expression its capturing the state and its the abuse of power at its highest form. People can still sign petitions in refusal to accept such legislation before the President signs it. Also each mobile application has its Terms and Conditions that the Government in our Democratic state has allowed its citizens to use because of access to information that in the Apartheid the majority of Blacks never had access to.
So this means creative writter, somehow, write something. Someone contextualize it, and make it their own. Than they can feel that their rights have been infringed?
Twitter one app that's not for sensitive people. The content itself is not for sensitive viewers. Young children shouldn't be using social media depending on how parents restrict minors. As for hate speech Former President Zuma said it himself in Parliament that he cannot sue everyone who says bad things about him. Its pointless and unconstitutional.
This should be bought into public opinion with consideration that not everyone is employed in South Africa so the argument is to some extent is kinda tyrannical.
Good argument but not good enough.
Being racist in country that experienced apartheid. Apartheid is considered crime against humanity. Expecting to be hold parliament position that's different argument itself. This GNU with the DA in it will be exhausting . The DA never won elections it goes went into agreements with other parties. Their numbers mean nothing, this means whatever agenda they have thats unconstitutional everyone in Parliament will oppose it, whether they like it not.
South Africans majority expected ANC alone to lead.

Well, this legislation is irrelevant to at least 50% South Africans. Because they are unemployed, it doesn't apply.
It is aimed at employed people. So, those who pay income tax, must keep their mouths shut or what? Lose their job? Unemployed people can hardly afford air time, so they're not a threat? They can't cause trouble?
If everyone was employed it would apply to everyone. Is the government living in more fear daily or are they more tired of being embarrassed (on social mefia owing directly to their under-performance)?
And how do get a South African politician to desist from defamation of character when they're occupied all day long running down the opposition, instead of managing the economy efficiently, which is what they're paid to do. Is that what you call earning your keep? And how do you get them to tell the truth? They're always in the right and always correct, totally innocent of any wrong doing. And even though you can clearly see everything disintegrating and collapsing in front of your eyes, they claim they're not to blame. Don't they set the worst example? The public are only following their lead, so why aren't politicians ever guilty? Is there a member of the public with over 650 charges against him, but not in jail yet? Yes, at least one, Jacob Zuma. And surprise, surprise, he's a politician.
Also, aren't politicians employed by the state. Yes they are, in fact they're employed by the people. But South African politicians think they're Gods unto themselves. They don't see themselves as being employed. Hear how they continually pay tribute to themselves through the media and in their meaningless speeches. Still, the greatest of all unanswered questions in SA remains, 'what do South African politicians do'?
How can South African people go on in this ever increasing police state that SA is fast becoming. South African politicians are the pits. They have done nothing with the huge resources entrusted to them by the owners of said wealth, the people, apart from squander and steal it.
South Africans are victims of a mal administration, which now wants to criminalize and convict the very people who've supported their careers to make them who they are, by disengaging them from any own opinion. Next stop for those who express their opinion is the salt mines in Siberia for a fully paid, lifetime holiday, Kremlin style
