Disappointed at that chimes player. 4:49 - 5:18. The gates of heaven are opening up for a soul who just finished an eternity of paying penance, and you represent bells of heaven; you don't blend with the band and play mesopiano on that. You go HOG FUCKING WILD and hit those chimes with the literal HAMMER GOD! I'm talking FFFFFFFFF dynamic level!
@Nisewaner3 I hate to inform you but the song you played was not the divine comedy it was james swearingen's acsencion which is a different song entirely.
RIP Mr. Smith, you were a heavyweight in the wind band scene
This was the closer of our marching band show and I performed the solo at 4:20 and it was so beautiful
So bloody amazing.

I am in seventh grade and the concert band at my school is playing movement two Purgatorio and i get a trumpet solo
Woah, holy crap! Your band has to be well accredited!
Jeez, in Seventh Grade I was playing grade 1's.

@@alexalexander1268 he literally said he played purgatorio, not this piece
@@ziyair2998 Exactly. Purgatorio is really difficult, so that band must be extremely talented to play something like that.
This sounds like Encanto but slower and more melodic.
That's what I thought when I listened to this piece yesterday!
Here is our band (West Forsyth High School - Wind Ensemble) playing this great tune ruclips.net/video/vmEOzs0AxBA/видео.html
