I competed in a couple BJJ tourneys having to cut weight, it definitely sucks you’re thirsty, hungry and drained all at the same time all the while having to sweat and be in heat to lose the water weight. Every time you move, walk or talk it takes more out of you than it should. It quite an experience, it sucks, but your discipline definitely sky rockets.
