Beautiful performance all around. Great dynamics, intonation, and interpretation from the soloist; excellent, well-balanced support from the orchestra. I've never heard the orchestra part for this before - what a wonderful synergy with the horn lines. Bravo to all!
Brilliant! This piece was written for Dennis Brain who would have endorsed this performance glowingly. Very sensitive playing brings out the melancholic aspects of the piece whilst the technical display element is just amazing!
