When young farmhand Jack (Nicholas Hoult) unwittingly opens a portal between his realm and a race of giants, it rekindles an ancient war. Roaming Earth for the first time in centuries, the fearsome giants seek to reclaim the land they lost long ago. Jack has to face an army of foes that he thought existed only in legend, but through his arduous fight for the kingdom and its people, he may win the love of a brave princess, perhaps becoming a legend himself.

Your probably the only person who has ever to reacted to this film masterpiece... This one is definitely the most memorable. I would always be terrified at the literal start of the movie with the loud intense song in the background and what made it even more scared is that we get to see the giants before the movie even began 😅. Best film I've ever seen as a kid, thanks for the reactions 🌱

50:59 I do like how the story of Jack changes over time. You hear people at the start say his uncle but then people miss remember as his mother. From white horse to cow. It’s a fun insight on how stories change with time

Tim, you have watched The Crown. Don't you recognize the Crown at the Tower of London? The British Royal family still uses it. Especially during coronations and state opening of parliament! ❤
That hell of a crown is St. Edward's Crown, the one used to crown British monarchs.

Oh yeah i remember watching this movie in the Theater with my dad and brother and we liked it oh yeah and if a sequel would've been made the Giants would've had tanks, attack helicopters, attack drones, fighter jets, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, missiles, possibly nukes, and chemical weapons to worry about
The CGI On The Giants Were Amazing, They Are Like Big People In A Movie. The Only, Thing A Wish Is That This Movie Should've Gotten A Sequel Due To The Post Credit Scene. If There Was A Sequel, I'm Gonna Call It Jack The Giant Slayer: The Revenge Of The Giants.
Hi Tim, this is a telling of Jack and the Beanstalk. You know the one where he steals the heart. The golden goose kills a giant by cutting down a Beanstalk.
Of course marrying a princess was never in it.

The brothers Grimm movie with Ledger is also iconic and terrifying
Many years I compared this movie to another film called Jack The Giant Killer. A film that was released in 1962. It had a few similarities to this one. Like a young farmer being the love interest of a princess, the villain having control of giants (however it was only temporary in this film). And the inclusion of a 2 headed giant.

Oh, yeah, there was a time when live action fairy tale movies are in in the late 2000s to early 2010s. 😅 It later got usurped by Disney's live action remakes.
