    The community as a whole wants Naguura to keep making shorts like these.

    I agree with you, also the opinion you share is true. Making the game more accessible especially for casual players will bring more money, more money means more investment from blizzard.
    Wow has a toxic community problem with clout chases demanding things hidden behind massive time sinks. People have jobs, families, etc, the game needs to evolve to make things better for them. Blizzard seems to be heading in the right direction. Just need to make it so that elite sets can be farmed after the season ends. Nothing should be fomo anymore. Also this isn't the communities opinion it's mine.

      i agree there are so many toxicity within WOW, which mmo/mmorpg doesn't, example i know someone who is disabled once played wow and was out DPS a guild leader but people within his guild including officer's turn on her, she left that guild and joined another but history repeated so with some many people hated on her she suffered a stroke, she finally joined a great community, she end up leaving wow because her heart no longer in wow

    Well, any rational person knows that someone who assumes they speak for others isn't entirely honest with themselves. Maybe their definition of 'community' are those who're like-minded.

  • @junglejim6674

    good point, but at the same time, aren't the people playing the game more the people you'd want to shape the game for? But I completely agree, a lot of players just don't take the time or care to speak on it so you're probably only getting 1 percent or less of the player base talking about wow at all.

    100% agree how ever bare in mind not all player's who play the game a lot want to write forum posts/tweets, I my self play wow a lot but don't want to write a post or tweets about something that's not within my control. Also i know someone who plays casually knows the game especially since vanilla.

    Err Naguura, engagement is a central part of !any! type of community. And if you as a part of that community choose to remain silent and non-interactive, youre non-verbally consenting to whatever the community comes up with. Youre not fine with it? Feel free to step up a notch and make your point, but dont expect others to feelcraft your point.
    Thing is, if we, the forum posters, class discord veterans, io pushers and raidparsers talk about the community interest, we're obviously not talking about casuals. And most if not all of the time, we're not discussing stuff which affects casual gameplay in any meaningful way. A casual player will never be affected by class or encounter balancing and design. A casual player will never have to worry about min-maxing on time investment, about progression curves and about bugs/exploits or new upcoming features, since at no point, any pressure is on him/her. Tweaking the game around casuals is like asking a paraplegic what could be improved on treadmills.

    The players who play a lot know more about the game than players who dont. They have more experience ACTUALLY doing the content. Id take their criticism more seriously than some casual who wants everything to be easier.

    • @rantanen1
      @rantanen1 5 месяцев назад +4

      But those people represent a fraction of the player base. You should not do major changes based on what a small percentage of the player base wants, because those people are not what keeps the game and the company behind it running.
      That's just bad design.
      Also who talked about wanting everything to be easier? Is that a thing that she actually talked about on this stream, or is that just a narrative you pulled out of your ass now?

    • @Lunatalli
      @Lunatalli 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@rantanen1 you should ALWAYS, absolutely ALWAYS balance endgame around the top players. The explanation is the simplest there can be: “Pushing super endgame content is where you need proper tuning, because the majority of WoW community are casuals who are mostly doing open world content and low endgame content like normal/heroic raid and low m+ like idk +5 to +10. AND FOR THOSE! You can go in naked. That content is easy. So by balancing the game around the elite, you make the game good for them, but you don’t gimp the game for casuals.”

    • @rantanen1
      @rantanen1 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Lunatalli But again, you're talking about a specific thing here.
      The guy I replied to interpreted what was being discussed as "oh they want everything easy" which was something he just pulled out of his ass
      And how you're interpreting it for some reason is talking about tuning very high endgame content.
      Yes, tuning very high endgame content should be balanced around top players because those are the only people touching that content. But that's only one type of tuning and changes in the game
      Why did you think that when I was talking about major changes not being done for the sake of a small player base, that i was talking about tuning and balancing high m+ or mythic raids?
      There's a lot more to the game than literally the hardest difficulty of the hardest content for the best players. You're both interpreting a very specific scenario in your heads that you're arguing for.
      Which ironically sounds a lot like what Naguuras point was that people have an opinion and in their minds 'it's the communitys opinion'.

    • @Lunatalli
      @Lunatalli 5 месяцев назад

      @@rantanen1 Nop. Never said it’s the community opinion as the elite is a small % of players. The community = the majority = casuals.
      What I am saying is that combat wise, nothing else truly needs balancing, because casuals won’t even touch it. And tbh there is so many toys, mounts and quests to do and collect, that casuals, especially those who play like an hour or two tops a day, won’t ever run out of content in their life. Thus the tuning for casuals is in comparison to endgame players quite irrelevant.
