I am so sorry that you are living with this condition and experiencing it. Thank you for sharing your story. I found your videos a few months ago because of one of your videos sharing about this. I understand your situation because I have it as well. Sometimes I feel like the only one that has it and nobody understands me. My dear friend, I want to give you a big hug 🫂 ❤ I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that health journey. Some people are just nasty and cruel, I don't understand. You are such a brave woman and thanks for sharing your story. I hope people learn from you and realise how lucky they are. Keep the positivity, you're blessed to have such an amazing supportive and loving husband, glad that you have him in your life. Take care my friend, sending you love ❤️ ❤❤
Alicja Wishing you a full speedy recovery❤ maybe a naturalist life style and nutrition could help. It helps me with my health. I refrein mainly caffeine and soya products and processed food. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. I rest as much as I can and do light walk.
Hi Alicja, Many thanks for sharing your story with the intention of making others, who also suffer from the same disease, feel supported. I see the physical and emotional pain in your eyes. It is rather brave of you to record such a long video about your condition. We are here to support and understand you. Carry on with your positive approach and hard work. Appreciation is truly the innermost virtue.
Dear Alicja, I hear you say "I refuse to give up" and I want to send you these words of comfort and admiration: of course you won't surrender, you are the winner ALREADY despite all the difficulties you have been facing since primary school. You will heal, I believe, just be kind to yourself, be open to release your emotions, to leave the past behind you with proffesional doctors' help and love of your husband. YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE.
Thank you for your story. I just heard 2 weeks ago that i have hashomoto and am still waiting for biopsie on nodule on thyroid... really scared at the moment. I'm going to start to eat right and we can only pray for full recovery.... Good luck to you and thank you once again ❤
Thank you so so much for these videos! You have helped me so much. You just nailed it. my heart sank, and my eyes filled with gratitude, that you shared your story. You're amazing. My heart breaks from your story. You are strong, resilient, over all a bad ass. I've sent your video to a couple of my loved ones, hoping it will give them a sense of what's going on inside of me because you are totally right on the outside, we look fine. I just can't say thank you enough again for sharing your story and helping me feel like I'm not crazy. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I wish you nothing but blessings and wellness
Thanks for sharing your story sending you loads of prayers .I know how tricky and bad this condition I didn't post any video on my RUclips channel because of this condition
I would say that any invisible illness make all around think that you are lazy, unsocial just because you can't follow they're rythm of life and that sucks and I gets you deeply god bless you and help you hopefully never go through that situation again xoxo
Naturopathy helped me when doctors couldn't. Also therapy is good for my health. You made so many changes in your life. Sometimes the soul and body don't get a chance to process so the body demands a break. Maybe what helped me could help you too.
Go on vacation, for a couple months in a different country. maybe it's your environment. That's one youTube doctor suggest. Sometimes it's the food your eating, sometimes it's the environment. I hope you figure it out.
Thank you for your advice and your concern, I appreciate it ❤️I already kind of know what is the underlying cause of all that, however solving that it’s neither quick nor easy thing to do.. 😢
This has worked for me for a week while I was in Greece on vacation, 29ºC, swimming, in he sun for half of the day minimum and on the beach barefoot, I felt so much better, even eating certain foods didn't affect me much, considering moving there if nothing else will help. But after I got back home it went downhill. When it's bad, your body simply doesn't work as it should and even little easy things become a struggle when before were really easy, I could do as if it was nothing, I notice this especially when exercising, I had to lower the intensity a lot.
Dear Alicia, I am sorry for what you are going through. With autoimmune disease, diverticulosis, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and thyroid disease, it's important to focus on a diet that supports thyroid function, reduces inflammation, and is gentle on the digestive system. Here are some food options and tips that might work well for you: ### **Protein Sources**: - **Lean Meats**: Chicken, turkey, fish and tofu. No meat. - **Fish**: Especially fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, and sardines, which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. - **Eggs**: Provide high-quality protein and nutrients like selenium, which is beneficial for thyroid health. ### **Fruits**: - **Low-Fiber Fruits**: Bananas, melons, and cooked fruits like applesauce or pears. - **Berries**: Blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are rich in antioxidants and generally easy to digest. - **Citrus Fruits**: Oranges and grapefruits can be consumed in moderation, especially if you tolerate them well. ### **Vegetables**: - **Cooked Vegetables**: Carrots, zucchini, spinach, and green beans, cooked until soft to aid digestion. - **Root Vegetables**: Sweet potatoes, squash, and pumpkin are nutrient-dense and easy on the digestive system. - **Cruciferous Vegetables**: Broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts should be cooked to reduce their potential impact on thyroid function, and eaten in moderation. ### **Grains and Starches**: - **Gluten-Free Grains**: Quinoa, rice, and oats (gluten-free) are good choices. Some people with Hashimoto's benefit from avoiding gluten. - **Sweet Potatoes**: Provide fiber and are a good source of vitamins A and C. ### **Healthy Fats**: - **Olive Oil**: Anti-inflammatory and supports heart health. - **Avocado**: Provides healthy fats and nutrients like potassium and folate. - **Nuts and Seeds**: Walnuts, flaxseeds, and chia seeds, in moderation, for omega-3s and fiber (if tolerated). ### **Dairy Alternatives**: - **Almond or Coconut Milk**: Dairy alternatives that are usually well-tolerated. - **Lactose-Free Yogurt**: Can be a good source of probiotics, beneficial for gut health. ### **Hydration**: - **Water**: Essential for overall health and aids digestion. - **Herbal Teas**: Peppermint or ginger tea can help soothe the digestive system and reduce inflammation. ### **Foods to Avoid or Limit**: - **Gluten**: Consider avoiding or limiting gluten, as it may exacerbate autoimmune and thyroid conditions. - **Dairy**: Some with Hashimoto’s or other autoimmune diseases find that dairy can trigger symptoms. - **Soy**: Soy products may interfere with thyroid function and should be consumed in moderation. - **Processed Foods and Sugars**: These can increase inflammation and may trigger autoimmune flare-ups. ### **General Tips**: - **Small, Frequent Meals**: This can help manage digestive symptoms and keep energy levels stable. - **Monitor Food Sensitivities**: Keep a food diary to track how different foods affect your symptoms. - **Consult a Healthcare Provider**: Work with a dietitian or healthcare provider to tailor your diet to your specific needs. This approach should help manage your conditions while ensuring you get the necessary nutrients to support overall health. This is just my suggestion. What you suffered sounded like gluten intolerance and that is very painful. Take care dear 🌺
