Very inspirational. Today I was doing the ErgData app which was 12x25 Cals w/1min easy and it seems right away I was cramping on my left Glute and I was thinking of your 24 hour pain challenge and it kept me from quitting. I massaged my Glute during the Easy and kept going. There was so much satisfaction completing this and I really know that the mental strength you gave me made it possible. I’m happy to say I made it to 8th place in the 65 to 69 age, heavy weight, with a 1.57.5 pace. Keep up the good work. We’re watching and learning. Thanks.

What kinds of training would you recommend for normal people to do before doing something like this. What kind of prep work did you do to get your body ready for the Standard?
Would love for you to team up with some old school CrossFit members. Get the Cali Bear, Jason Khalipa in on it next year.

Insanity ! Awesome job . I did the marathon row and as actual marathon runner I would rather run a marathon every day for a month then do the marathon row ever again .. now I’ve done 100 miler running races and I don’t sleep during them either because once I do I’m done ! My mindset is screwed up .. being from the military I just don’t sleep during endurance events. I’m actually carnivore though so I only refuel with LMNT . My stomach never liked GU or any of that .. though I use to take them .. during ironman I once drank melted ice-cream because it’s the only thing I could stand or flat coke but I don’t do that anymore either ..I just go and take electrolytes . Sometimes the last 30 min I would pop some jellybeans for a boost but not usually ..
That’s awesome. Makes sense with the different nutrition needs for each person.
