I truly believed USA has been blessed abundantly (to be a great nation - a leader nation of the free world), because it has recognized God.

Everytime I watch videos of judge caprio presiding cases he won my heart with his kindness and how he treats people with dignity and respect. My favourite video is in which a girl mentioned honesty twice and judge says her smile was genuine one.

I lived in so many countries and to be honest going to the court for any reason in so many countries actually is a horrible experience. The judge is always above the law and most probably the outcomes are so detrimental whether you are guilty or not. The judge is not gonna believe you anyways and if the claimant has any connection with the judge or the govt then you are done and just locked up behind the bars automatically even if not guilty. I guess the worst day in any one's life is the day when he/she goes to the court even for a minor offence.

It’s just as horrible in the US, as racism is a very real problem. The colour of your skin and the money in your bank account often determines the outcome of any trouble with the law. Where one person can get away with lots of traffic violations, another might be pulled over and killed. I’m not saying this is always the truth, because there are good people everywhere.
Did you notice this guy offered no excuse for his tickets? And it took that judge about 5 seconds to size up the expensive clothing the student was wearing. The reason this judge has a reputation is because he’s seen too many people who are struggling to survive stand in front of him because they couldn’t afford to spare an extra dollar to pay fines for traffic violations which were close to call.
Pretty sure he has his reasons for what his show has become, to show there should be mercy in court, to try to set a good example for other judges and law officers, to encourage citizens to help one another, to highlight the importance of kindness, and probably because he remembers the immigrant story of his own family.
If this guy showed up in court, dressed like he was, with his education being paid for, and being able to afford to bring expensive meals and flowers in the earlier days of this show, I very much think he would be paying his own fines.
Judge Caprio is not a fool, not by a long shot. If this show , with its popularity, encourages others to be a little kinder, then he is accomplishing what he wants to.
This is just my opinion of course. Just one person’s opinion, who has been given lots of breaks on the road, and who also has paid fines when appropriate. I’m not trying to be a know-it-all. I think it’s good to learn from anything, and what I’m learning these days is sometimes it’s better to just mind your manners and keep quiet if you have nothing positive to contribute to a conversation. Good manners are important, and will get you far in life. And, it’s very easy to manipulate emotions online. Social media is now capable of determining your mood, of winding you up, making you rude.
I wish we could all agree to have a “ positive day” one day per week on all social platforms. We would all benefit from that, and these huge corporations wouldn’t make as much money as they do. Win/ win situation.
@@Caperhere I totally agree with each and every word you said. Unfortunately all what you said is nowadays applied to the vast majority of the countries around the world. Regarding racism, this issue is very serious indeed and the problem is it is always fueled up by the politicians. When I watch online videos about how people treat each other based on the colour I get shocked and I say in my mind, where are we going with this kind of nasty behaviour..I am a Middle Eastern and treated in a very nasty way in Europe because of my colour too . However, Europe is much better (if we can call it) than the USA when it comes to racism. It is really very saddening!
