I worked as a flight attendant for 43 years and the last few years definitely felt that turbulence was becoming more frequent and increasing in intensity
On my last flight on Easy Jet to fuerteventura, we experienced bad turbulence off the coast of Portugal. The pilot swiftly contacted air traffic and managed to get us a higher flight altitude to avoid it
There's no effect on the airplane. The airplanes are tested to deal with stress and as pilots, you're trained in knowing limitations of the airplane and weather to reduce the severe risk of turbulence on the airplane.
Hi there, there are a lot of options for air sickness. Motion sickness bands work well. Also, you can try medication such as dramamine and other similar brands. Also, try and get a window seat. Focus on the horizon even if the aircraft is turning. You shouldn't have much of an issue if you try these things
Completely different story here on the other side of the world..especially from America down to Australia and New Zealand…which is either going over the Pacific or Indian Oceans…including Boeing plane fails…doesn’t always make for great flying experiences…and now 2 astronauts are stuck on the ISS because of another Boeing failure.

Hello, you've got to check if you can have a derogation for the class 1 medical certificate. Some disability can overpassed by a derogation. I don't know know if this specific issue is eligible for a derogation. I know there are different types/severity of color blindness. The derogation is decided by experts after checks to find out if your issue is a danger or not or if it requires a specific treatment that must be checked at each flight. Friendly
as a long time flyer i can tell you there is no such thing as air pockets(myth).you have never walked down the street into an area that there is no air and you can't breath.just turbulance that's it.nothing to worry about.
@@CatsandJP No they are not. No aviation curriculum anywhere refers to 'air pockets'. It is a media fiction. Don't care what you think of my channel, have plenty of real world income, thanks lol
Such a treat hearing people talking about “aeroplanes” and not “airplanes” !!
Pilot license says Airplane
@@FrapachinoPlz Not in the UK it doesn't
Had the pleasure of flying with all three of these wonderful Captains 💜
They need that married couple from “Come Fly with Me”

I’ve flown with Tom this year on my SNY flight in April and he is amazing!!! ✈️☁️

Wow what a story.

I love this, just wish they had concentrated more on turbulence and the affects on the plane but I appreciate they didn’t have much time.

Travel tips by Laurie has a good video about turbalance featuring a Houston pialet
I have NEVER experienced severe turbulence in all my years of flying and I'm 68.
I have, but only once. It's really very rare--and becoming even more rare thanks to advanced weather models and rapid information dissemination.
I enjoy aircraft & flying… but always get air sick 🤢 about 1 hour into the flight 😢

I'm very proud of my arnty and uncle and his brother Henry and Hayley are my arnty and uncle I am very very proud and I have never met his brother🎉🎉🎉
HEPA filters= High Efficiency Particulate Air filters. I'm surprised the pilot didn't know that.
I’m not 👍
Knowing the acronym is important exactly why?
Was tom off the tui flight barbados to bournemouth video
🍀I love this video- and I love flying many years ago I was stewardess👍🌹🌿🇮🇸😁
My parents are chicken littles and refuse to fly. Dad says when he's on a plane, I will be carrying his ashes. 😮

Deirdre Rashid got scammed by a dodgy pilot and ended up in prison.
Paid product placement for Tui, I believe.
Always fly with TUI, they are the best.
The air filters can't remove pungent aromas.
I wanted to become a pilot but found out I am colorblind.

"among", not "between".....PLEASE!!
Brilliant ❤
Then why did you have to mask up? 😷🤔✈
Government regulation, the airlines had to follow it
so what theyre saying is, its more likeky to crash your car into the top of a 25,000ff mountain than their airplanes?:):) theyre THAT SAFE:):)
No, they're saying you are statistically much more likely to die in the road journey to or from the airport than during the flight.
Husband and wife flying scares me more than turbulence

Ive flown Tui many times - theyre and excellent airline. Wouldn’t ever choose Ryanair or EasyJet over Tui
Unless you went a destination that TUI don’t fly too!
I’ve flown all 3 airlines and never had a problem with any of them.
Love this because Ryanair are statistically the safest airline out of all of them. Love Ryanair. You get what you pay for.
@@alexaviation8107Yes Ryanair stands out, but all UK airlines are safe
