Do not rush to get coffee rush. I bought it and it is very cute and I tried it with a friend, and we felt that it was boring, more like an activity than a game. There was a variance to tighten up the starting cards and we will give it another try with that. The game comes with its pieces organized into two little boxes, which is nice, but four of the items are special ingredients and the other four are not, and you think they would have put the special ingredients in one box and the other ingredients in the other, but no, so you can do that to start before your first game.
There's plenty of games to be interested in. Doggerland and many more at Hachette. Galactic Cruise at Dranda. Spokes at Radical 8. Loads more. I've got a list longer than an A4 page.
@@tmcd5049 Coiled Spring have Forbidden Jungle and Archeologic which might be worth a play. Daybreak is meant to be interesting but I don't know if anyone is showing that at the show.
Galactic Cruise was shown at Essen so I've already got my fill of that until it's officiall released. Spokes looks ok, but basically an abstract game. Doggerland didn't take my interest.

I've also not managed to get to Essen since 2016 so this is my first chance to see Galactic Cruise, I've also managed to get into a game taught by Paul Grogan so looking forward to that. I hope you do enjoy the show Luke, I'm sure you'll have fun catching up with people and playing some games. :)

I find the Library and B&B at Airecon a lot better but then I think UKGE is more for consumers than players.Your not the only one Luke I'm not interested in Reiner Knizia games either. A few of the games I'm interested in this year are Conservas, Washed Ashore and Panchayat, they are mainly solo so might not be for you.
I don't like sand. it's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Sorry, not sorry. Can't resist whenever sand is mentioned! XD I finally got my hands on Art Society. Took forever to come to sweden. Played it two times so far, both times were great. Much of this list for UK Expo didn't really grab me. Problably for the best since I got some titles that I'm looking forward to. Also the audio sounds okay.

Ha ha, I certainly do have a fat gut, but you're right, order up a size to account for shrinkage. I did that with a recent shop and the new Broken Meeple polo shirts and no regrets.

I have a small list of games I would like to try/buy and will see what else comes up but are the games there generally sold at RRP or are they generally a bit/lot cheaper or more expensive due to the event? And is it worth shopping around the expo for best prices or are they usually similar price? Thank you
Generally a little more expensive but not by a lot, not like Essen standards. Don't expect to get mega deals though aside from old stock they try to sell last minute on Sunday.

I've played a demo of Seti already, I'll do main thoughts in a vid but I loved this one.
