Great review thanks! I went back and forth on the kickstarter with this one. I'm a sucker for deluxeification and this one all in was expensive!
So I didn't push the button..... Then regretted it.....Watching this video solidified that regret... Finally I went to the Sit Down website and preordered the big box edition which arrived today.
OMG... Its awesome!.... Worth every penny!

A worthwhile review. But my, how times have changed! Not 15 years ago, the average game length for a 3 or 4-player game was two to three hours. And people had no issues with that. Nowadays, a game length of only one hour is something to warn as a "negative". Yes, times have changed. Not sure if for the better. We're losing our ability to stay focused, stay engaged, and exhibit patience.

Ha ha maybe, but then just because they were that long years ago doesn't mean that was a good thing. Monopoly does not deserve to be 3 hours! :P These days we also have way more to distract us or take up our time then 15 years ago when life was so much simpler and easier.

Which TV show was the 'photobombing' clip taken from? I can't quite figure it out and the dialogue is not substantive enough for me to search on those grounds. (I also used Google Lens but the algorithms don't really understand my parameters lol)

It was an episode of The Grand Tour with the old Top Gear crew. They go to Columbia to test 3 old 4x4s while doing animal photography. 😂

The 4 games you mentioned around 7:30 that were this year at essen by Edu Valls were: Satori (Perroloko Games), Redwood (Sit Down) , 3 Ring Circus (Devir), and Trolls & Princesses (Game Brewer). Most known from Bitoku (Got my copy signed ). Cool guy IRL

Trolls was the one I couldn't recall as I gave it little attention. And yeah Bitoku as much as I find the game average is a looker. And yeah he seemed nice in person - got my 3 Ring Circus doodle.

When I first saw this, it didn’t really look like something I’d like, but your review got me interested

As always, a quality video and very interesting to watch!
We think the description of the game is very accurate and it's nice to see that you liked the game - 9/10, thank you!
Just a quick tip about the length of the game: As there are some manipulations in the game, we know that the length of the game will depend a lot on the players.
So we included a "by team - 2 vs 2" version, to save time. It's up to the players to choose which version they would prefer 🙂
    See you soon!

Great review. I was tempted by the KS; now to think about retail. FYI: the bbg link goes to a different game.

My wife laughed when you said ‘bokeh lens.’ There is no such thing.
