While I agree that flesh joining flesh is a binding agreement between man and woman in the sight of God, I believe it is important to note that you cannot simply go and join flesh with someone and then be "married" as the bible calls that fornication. For instance Mary is called Joseph's wife even though they never join flesh until after the birth of Jesus and the verses quoted by Ruckman show that the man is cleaving unto his WIFE meaning that she is considered his wife before the joining of flesh. There is a danger that some people or young confused people will take this doctrine and use it to justify whoremongering.

It has been a few weeks since I watched the video so I don't remember ever detail but I don't recall any incorrect doctrine being taught in the video. My intention was merely to highlight an issue I have heard become a problem when people attribute the act of marriage as solely based on flesh joining flesh and so will be basically shack up with someone and claim to be married under biblical principle while completely ignoring the other responsibilities and expectations involved. If I recall when I watched the video I don't remember Ruckman specifically mentioning this issue which is why I chose to make a note of it. It was intended as a warning against heretical distortions made by some reprobates against the perfectly sound teaching given in this video and not a reproof of Ruckman, Lotan, or the doctrine given here. Again my apologies as I can see how my comment could be taken as nitpicking and sowing discord which was not at all my intention.
