I don't have any fish to breed.
I still don't understand why I watch these anymore.
I love how curious and unafraid my endler's are. When i try to scoop debris up with my net, they start investigating, often swimming in to the net it self. Its the kind of fish that swims up to the glass all exited in the morning to greet you and beg for food. I love them.

Mine are opposite, they hate and savagely avoid the net. When it comes to begging for food, they will just stare at me until I give them some. If you give them live foods such as blackworms or daphnia they get so agressive in the tank. The female matriarch will full on charge anything that gets in her way. They obsessively sweep every nook amd corner looking for goodies, and I've even seen them try to dig.
Just got mine yesterday! They are boisterous little fellas!

I ended up with two free fish fry in an order of shrimp and low’n’behold, they are the fish I wanted next endlers! Now to find my ladies a male 🤔
My endlers are kept at the basement in a 5gallon which is always cold place, so if I play some Netflix myb it'll increase the "productivity"
On a side note, they have a heater which maintains their tank at around 80° F
I'll admit-- I keep a tank of beautiful LBR aquatics line rainbow jaguar endlers in one tank and when there get to be too many boys I pop them in with the guppies and they make beauitful mutts!!

Thanks for the suggestion! For now I've just got some really basic endlers that probably aren't even morphs that can be named. Nevertheless I love them and don't really care for the specific super cool-looking ones. Maybe when I get more variety I'll do a tour!

Does this method work with guppys and endlers like if i wanna breed my cobra endler with some female guppys would it work the same?
I ordered 8 CPD online and received a ninth mystery baby fish in the bag. I assumed it was another CPD but as it grows it's pretty obvious it's not, I think it's some kind of live bearer, I'm thinking endler. So I might be moving the CPDs to a 10 gallon and adding more endlers to my 29 gallon with my kuhli loaches. 😆

Shelby Johnson I’m no expert but as long as you give them plenty of room and keep them healthy they should breed well. If you keep them in a tank with fish there is a good chance that the fish will eat the fry and stress out the adults so it might nit work so great on a community tank
Ali R false ghost shrimp are pretty hard to breed as they need brackish

Why is it so hard to find endler females? Stores always carry plenty of female guppies but never the female endlers in my area!

doesn't sound too good... a 10 gallon is pretty small for any gourami that isn't the croaking or honey gourami...

I just got my first “set” of Endlers. I am anxious for them to start breeding. Once you have babies that are old enough to determine males from females, can you put just the extra males in another tank together with no females. Will they fight like Bettas? Here are sky blue endlers. It will be interesting to see if there is color variation in the offspring. Thank you for your videos. They are very interesting and entertaining.
