So I was on the fence about doing WGU however thanks to your very detailed videos I am going to do it. Thanks for the information. very informative especially what to expect.
When I began my BS degree at WGU I preferred objective assessments. As I progressed into my MBA degree program at WGU, I grew to prefer the performance assessments. In the beginning, I had less than stellar writing skills and confidence, but I could kill at test taking. Later on, I progressively got better with my writing skills and discovered I now prefer a task-based assessment.
I am definitely in the preferring objective assessment stage. Performance tasks seem so daunting to me. Hopefully it will also change for me as I progress through my degree plan.
Informative! Thanks for this, I wasn't aware that this is how the performance based tasks were executed. I've decided to push a class back to another term as a result of this video. Congratulation on successfully completing all of the requirements for your first term. I remember watching your first videos when I too was about to begin. My new term starts on 3/1 and I have already completed all of the credit requirements with 6 weeks to go. I'll try to squeeze in another class and hopefully end this term with 15 CU's. Thanks again for being so informative! Let's take term 2 by storm and make 2018 as productive as possible!! Cheers!
The performance assessments definitely can be time consuming! That is awesome! Such a great feeling to know you finished the requirements and everything you finish for the next 6 weeks is just bonus! Absolutely! 2018, we are coming! Congratulations on a successful first term!
That's exciting! It definitely can seem daunting but once you start passing classes and see them turn blue on your degree plan you'll be unstoppable!! Best of luck to you!
Well its tough at first trying to figure out all the modules and testing. But I am getting the hang of working through the material as slow or as fast as I want. Do you have any previous classes ? I had dumped in a AS and some bachelors Ive got a good two years.
Scared to death about starting. It has been so long since I have been in college. Going for the B.S. In Cyber security & Information Assurance. Starting May 1
I am thinking of doing the online masters. Is the program designed for people to actually complete. Fear starting and not completing bc its too difficult.
Sarah Lunsford so exciting! Did you finish your orientation? Ince that is complete you will have a series of 4 calls with your mentor in the next few weeks (assuming nothing has changed in 6 months) one of those calls should be setting your classes for the term and the degree plan should be visible by then. Also, you can always ask your mentor when you should expect to have access to it! Hopefully very soon! Best of luck!
