RM was told to apologize, and he directly addressed it and said he wouldn't, but jisoo was told to as well because (you could argue) armys wanted a way to get it off of rm or divert the attention from rm and she apolgized. Also, RM speaks great fluent english and jisoo is still learning so rm was fully capable of understanding the lyrics.

Apparently she recommended the same song back in April (it’s a Frank Ocean song and he headlined Coachella). Jisoo didn’t face much controversy over it, so she never made a public statement/apology. It’s a bit of a reach, but I think the basic idea was that if RM was going to be criticised and have to apologise, then Jisoo should be held to the same standard. Tbh I don’t know enough about the song/singer/contest to work out whether it is actually Islamaphobic (i.e. whether an apology is necessary).

RM was told to apologize, and he directly addressed it and said he wouldn't, but jisoo was told to as well because (you could argue) armys wanted a way to get it off of rm or divert the attention from rm and she apolgized. Also, RM speaks great fluent english and jisoo is still learning so rm was fully capable of understanding the lyrics.

And RM is very aware of the religion of Islam and he speaks fluently in English. On the other hand, Jisoo isn't fluent in English and is probably not aware that it targets Islam. She also cleared out the version where it specifically speaks about Islam in a negative light. Like you said Jisoo does Not deserve any hate.
