I built this next to a mountain… don’t build it next to a mountain guys, unless you wanna cover a 128x128 radius in leaf blocks

Quick tip: If you are really struggling to locate an outpost in Minecraft, there are two methods that you can use. Firstly, you can use Chunkbase, a third-party tool that allows you to find biomes and structures in your world. You can also create a copy of your world and use the "locate" command. It's worth noting that these method's can be seen as cheating by some players, and I haven't personally tried either of these methods (I found one on my first Elytra trip) they can be useful if you are truly desperate to find an outpost.
It's cheating. It knocks out the exploration. Chunkbase or locate command should only be used if seemingly every single stronghold is a Non Portal stronghold or if one player decides to get elytra for the entire server

@@WoodsDaily420 You're cheating who, exactly? Yourself? Some put more value on their time and patience over excesive "exploration" (or grinding), and that's valid too. At the end of the day ppl enjoy the game they paid for in whatever way it suits them and invest whatever amount of time in it as they feel like. Setting those kind of "proper legit playing" rules seems ridiculous to me, but hey, challenge yourself as much as you want.

I've only ever duplicated my world to find a bastion, I looked for hours and died MANY times and I got frustrated.

Note: to make the villager not die you need to build a 4 by 4 by using leaves then build up 2 blocks up on all and cover it up and put the bed there and make sure he can moves so he can move by 2 blocks it worked in my test world

Ravages can burn the top layer of leaves so make it like 13 blocks instead of 8. Destroy all profession blocks if nearby (composters, blast furnace, etc) if villager won’t sleep, try breaking bed and placing new bed down. Bell located under villager may help locate and also notifies you of each round with sound. Xp can go through blocks at close range; I recommend placing normal blocks instead of slabs by the kill chamber, then placing trapdoors on the blocks so you can have spacing (vindicators can reach through blocks sometimes)

Also from the bad omen grinder it makes it more efficient if your more like 40 blocks up instead of 30 I’m doing it now sitting a bit higher and it’s works way better
Does the looting still work if you have glass?
I also wanted to let you guys know for the lava right above the kill chamber make sure it is only one block instead of 4 as witches can spawn in it drink fire resistance and never die causing the farm to break

Hey, sorry to bother you, but I have a question... It seems like u`ve built the farm already, so maybe u could help. I am building the farm rn, but they won´t spawn somehow... I think they are supposed to spawn, where the glass-block is at... Am I right? But somehow they won´t spawn. Maybe u have an idea, thank you.
@@Leo-cc2sv Um..what glass block do you mean? They are supposed to spawn in the top chamber where the water flows. Important for spawning is that it's 100 or more blocks away from the Outpost, Villages, and Beds, so that only your farm counts as a village. Personally i find this farm too much work, going back and forth to get the bad omen,and doing a wave. I recommend another farm that is build on the Outpost with a separate Bad Omen farm included, those run 1 after the other, constant raids. Depends if you just want a few Totems of Undying, or tons and tons of Emeralds. This farm and tutorial is great, but just a bit slow.
@@Leo-cc2svif you are talking about the pillager captains they will spawn below the glass block and air gap on the block, the glass block is only there so they get pushed off the block they spawn on falling into the trident killer making this farm afkable

Just a tip if you build it in a snow biome. Use froglights underneath the leaves it prevents snow on top of the leaves . If not the pillagers will spawn on top of the snow . Worked for me

I used magma under the water spot works perfect. Also, instead of leaves on top of the farm I put the scaffolding as it doesn't collect snow at all

It totally worked. I have this now in my survival and it is amazing! The only thing that I don't like about illagers is that they don't let me do this build as an aesthetic medieval tower or something because they literally spawn everywhere! But that's a Minecraft mechanic, your farm is AMAZING!!
im pretty sure if you place slabs on top of whatever youre building they wouldnt be able to spawn on it not entirely sure th so maybe make a copy of your world and try it in there
Sometimes Witches use fire resistance and get stuck by swimming on top of the lava in the killing chamber. To fix this simply add a sign on the block diagonally opposite to the lava source. This way Ravagers still get killed by the lava (since they’re bigger that one block) but witches using fire resistance flow down into the killing chamber. Worked for me.

@@samjohnson5852yes, what he just said works perfectly and you get a ton of totems, I get roughly 20 every 10 min but recommend making a auto sorter to get rid of bows and anything you don’t wants because you’re double chest will fill quickly !!!
Are you talking about the lava source at the top or the one near the bottom just above the trident killer?

Farm is working as intended, it was a slight bit of a struggle to build but it was worth it.

Works like a charm beautiful. Would be helpful if you added a little auto-sorter maker at the end.
ran into the issue of the raids spawning outside of the killing chamber because there are two large mountains within about 50 blocks. Had to dig them down each about 10 blocks then cover in leaves (and then do another layer of leaves about 20 blocks up to block the snow.
little bit late but you can use glowstine to melt the snow and prevent it from spawning
@@summerpinguin6273 ive got this problem too but if i place gowstone on the leaves, doesnt that just counteract the idea of the leaves.

Works amazing! I’d give 2 likes if I could. Only problem I had was a rail system too close to the raid area so mobs would spawn on top of the blocks, changed the path to leaves and it’s been great ever since! Great video
I built this whole thing in a frozen biome, not realizing that not only would my top water freeze, but that snow accumulating on everything makes spawn proofing useless. Finally figured out to cover everything in a 2 block tall roof of snow blocks and it fixed it but yeeeesh, took some messing with lol

I tested this in creative first to see it worked so i could put it in my survival world, and it works perfectly in both
8 blocks isn’t high enough (needs to be 11). Sometimes the ravagers with pillagers on their backs pile up, and when they catch on fire they burn the leaves off the wall at the top, allowing for mobs to spawn there. Love the lava inside the bottom of the drop chute though, great idea and it works well.

Fantastic farm man. Not much comments say it but it works great on Xbox Series X. Building the top 11 blocks recommended
Tip: for those taking damage from trident killer just add trapdoors on the slabs seems to have worked for me

On the outpost I’m at the captains keep spawning on the outside do I just have to keep killing them until they spawn in the glass area?
No that means you made it wrong
I've never built a raid farm before but on the round that I'm on with my family we really needed emeralds and this was super easy to follow it was super straightforward I didn't get confused there were times where I couldn't hear very well but that's just cuz I have terrible hearing but it works great and I will definitely be using your videos again
Hey just a quick suggestion to make things easier to understand, instead of just saying "this direction", use the locater map to signify what direction you are building out in. Would clarify a lot of parts.
Died a couple of times building this but works perfectly 😅 in a snow biome so used the scaffolding ontop of items instead of leaves so the snow cant collect, also as others advised built the top chamber a bit taller (11blocks) to avoid the ravager on fire issue. So far so good great build and instructions.
Any advice on avoiding getting poisoned by the witches?

Was trying to get the captain to spawn on the east and not west but once i fixed that it works good, also had to make the top portion a little higher cause the leaves burnt

I like this design but it seems to work in some games and not in others. The raid killer on the top chamber worked flawlessly without a doubt, but the outpost Pillagers wouldn’t spawn in the bottom chamber.
What I did was move the trident killer lower on the level of where the remaining birch floor is, and made a piston pusher so whenever everytime they spawn they just get pushed into the killer.
I have no idea how this design is supposed to keep them in. It made sense when he described it but bedrock is a weird game so.
Could you just use the way to find a spawn then run to ur near iron farm ?
Also for anyone that wants totems from it put your game mode on hard when you do it
U can use a boat to put a villager and connect a lead and if u want to go up u can build with blocks and the boat will follow u because of the lead connected to the boat
I just took a zombified villager and had him follow me up all the way to the bed chamber, then I healed him and that was that
as I was building the farm the captains were spawning and then when I finished they wont spawn anymore

the reason they dont spawn cuz they need a 2x2 solid block spawn spot the way he did it is not right use mud hoppers work with mud so use mud and don't use the spawn spot he use go to the spot they spawn in and put the hoppers there it will work then
hello, i’ve noticed that when i go afk, i always end up getting poisoned by witches, is there a way to avoid this?
Notice how there’s 100 comments saying problems and they commented it 2 weeks ago yet one single comment saying great farm from only 5 hours ago he responded to but not the problems

Why respond to everyone who couldn't get it to work? That's a waste, considering most people didn't follow directions thoroughly or skipped a step, and not his problem to work it out for them. He's already did his part and showed how to build it and make it work. Everything else is on the players.
@@ChromeCobra420 I get where you're coming from but I've now built this 3 times and have problems with 2 of* them. The same issue on both with leaves getting broken and this build is basic shit. Followed the video every single time lol so yeah dunno but it ain't me.
Point is he responded to players that it worked for but not a single one that had problems. Not his problem but that's exactly what's fucked with people in the world now.
I have an issue on the trident killer where you get exp from the pistons push the observer out of the machine and it breaks the trident killer and i die to evokers
Quick Tip: Placing a powdered snow block directly beneath the dropper will eliminate all sideways momentum and the drops will fall straight down. Learned this from Docm77. No more "Willy Nilly."
would just waiting at the trident killer that gets you bad omen until you get max bad omen then just going up work for totems?

I have an issue with raid enemies spawning on the villager even with the leaves and everything placed exactly as the video does I have also tried moving the villager to different locations as well and nothing changes
in the video when he throw his trident in his chest are on the opposite side but for me there right next to the machine which later on becomes a problem I tried to move it to another side but then it just doesn't look like the video at all and im afraid that it might mess me up later on. Any way to fix this

I have built this and it’s not working it creates the raid but doesn’t spawn any of the pillagers, the video was really good and easy to follow but not sure why it doesn’t want to work ?
Those who still have captain spawning problems, please check your game mode and set it to hard mode, if still captain spawning is not happening then wait for 10 minutes because captain spawns every 10 minutes interval. 😊😊, its good and works smooth but its not that fast as you aspect and after raid completion i am getting only 4-5 totems 😢
Yeah that makes sense. Each hard raid has 5 evokers, which means 5 totems
All of my Xp is invisible and spawns at the bottom of the farm. Im aware of the bug with the invisible orbs but how can i keep the xp at the top so I dont have to go up and down all the time?
Was having issues with getting the banner guys to spawn in the farm in the beginning. I solved it by watching a video of another raid farm where he started off with blocking the spawns of the tower by placing leaves in certain locations. Once I did that things start working just fine. Hard for me to describe where the spawns are so looking for a video on it should help. It involved placing leave blocks in a few locations 8 blocks apart on all levels of the tower.
Could you explain because my banner guys continue to spawn outside and I’ve followed each instruction of the video correctly and gone over it multiple times, my raids don’t restart or is it because there’s a cooldown?

every time i put the scaffolding down to get to the top of the first trident killer it’s 1 too high is anyone else having that problem?
Don't bother with the hoppers collection system at the bottom just make a basic storage system linked to the hoppers under the raid killing chamber instead bc the other one doesn't give useful items

if they spawn outside of it, remove hoppers and put mud over hoppers then put leaves inside the bottom of the outpost then everywhere you see a full block put leaves and you'll be fine

Built the farm, works great… but built it in a snowy biome… when the snow builds up on the leaves can they spawn? The leaves on the top keep breaking, not often enough to be lightning i dont think but im gonna place a lightning rod in the center of the farm above it and cross my fingers, im also gonna like the outer walls with torched to try and get the snow to melt, i had to place a torch next to the water block aswell so that it wouldnt freeze
Could replace the water blocks into waterlogged blocks like stairs, always works for me and is usually using leftovers from random projects.
Next to 2 blocks from the stairs, in the 2nd block ALWAYS the pillagers spawn.
I had a hard time making the captain spawn in the chamber. What I did is I went around the outpost and spawn proof everything by a 41 x 41 radius with leaves. I also reduced my chunk radius, set the game on hard and it works 100% every time.
For me the captain doesent even spawn
@@narkirankkari I had to spawn proof everything to force captains to spawn. After you finish the farm, place a line of leave blocks from each corner going 40 blocks. Next, fill that in completely with leaves. I’d get at least 2 shulker boxes filled with leaves. After you finish with the outside, cover the structure with leaves as well, including the bottom and top floor. This will force all only pillagers and captains to spawn in that kill chamber. I’d also would replace 4 blocks on with tinted glass just so I can see if any captains spawn in.
So what if i have a pillager outpost that’s basically inside a village? Do I just tear the village down?

Go turn off the bad omens trident killer first go back up wait out the raids until they stop spawning

idk what messed up the build, at first pillager keep spawning on top of the killing chamber even with leaves on top, then after that those ravegers then keep spawning on the afk platform even if i put leaves on top of my head, it made me delete my world that took me several days just for developing the village

Replace it with wood, cobbelstone or dirt, (to my knowledge, these blocks are spawnable) because glass isnt spawnable much like leaves.

Tips for finding pillager outpost idk if this method work on PC but you can copy your world to make another one and make that copied world into a creative mode and locate the pillager thats what im doing right now i know its cheating but its not cheating when you can sill achievenents😂😂😂 i hope it helps
I spent like 3 hours building this in survival just for every raid to spawn on the ground
Have leaves cover the entire outpost and areas on the ground so they can’t spawn.
Probably should have made it in a creative copy first then built it in survival

I built this about 30-70 blocks away from another village, the raids happen, but on the ground in between the post and village. My villager doesn’t seem to count
i had to kill every villager in the village
