Great video as usual. When filming inside mob farms, maybe use night vision so its easier to see the design better.
If you take the composters out of the bone meal farm, you can funnel dried kelp into the chest instead and turn them into dried kelp blocks. Great infinite source of fuel 😊

your farms are always great easy to build ways to get a lot of xp or loot, i built your fish farm and i got two maxed out pickaxes two maxed out bows and a few maxed out fishing rods + lots of xp and more enchanted books and fish. highly recommend to build the fish farm showcased in this video, using a fishing rod with luck of the sea III and lure III makes it 10x better.
i’m also gonna build your iron farm, raid farm and gold farm soon since i need iron, totems and gold :p

@@TheLast_Knightyou'll need to make a portal 200 blocks away from where your gold farm is.
then how do you get blaze rods to make endereyes for end portal

i built the gold farm and i love it. i built a room around the kill chamber and brought some villagers over and made them all clerics so i can trade the flesh and excess ingots for emeralds.

I couldnt fogure out which farm was the best so i built them all. I think i outsourced my sqiid farm a while ago and other than that every single farm i have is from JC. Playz!
Do farms with Trident killers work for other players, or will it only work for your who initially threw the Trident? Specifically for XP purposes
Only works for the person that threw the trident. Have tested this myself
In my experience it works with other players, but the looting effect only works for the person who threw it.
But that was before 1.20 so things might have changed idk
I wish you cleared up if we can repeat these farms in Java or did Java versions.
Can you do automatic sorting system for farms ?
The gold farm is so good I got over 250 levels after like 1 hour and made 5 beacons all out of gold

Question, what’s the point of using a trident instead of havin mobs falling to their death? Plus my only trident broke while using a gold farm an it was a pain to get another one. Thanks! Great video
Trident are used in farms to kill mobs coz the looting 3 effect can be applied when trident killers are used. As it is considered as a player kill, if you're holding a looting 3 sword you'll get more drops
If the mob dies without being hit by a player they don’t drop xp

Love your videos! These help me a lot because I love to play but hate to sit and grind. These farms free me up to do other things while it grinds.
Couple questions: On your gold farm why is the portal so huge? Wouldn't it be the same using a smaller portal with less materials or is it each square has a chance of spawning when opened or closed?
Now that armadillo is coming (pet defense) would it be worthwhile to explore tamed wolves instead of trident killers for general mob farm (I have a skeleton spawner version that without the boost loses wolves too fast)? I have much better luck with finding wolf breeding/packs than trident wielding ( not to mention the subsequent dropping of said trident) drowned.
Also besides the iron farms what other farms would be best to build in Spawn chunks (even if a small benefit is gained)?
Of all the farms which would be good to use "side by side" so to say? For example standing at coordinate 0, 76, 0 facing east is the lava pit fishing, north is the iron farm, west is the soul sand bed magma block fishing farm and South facing could be one of the trident killer farms. That is an extreme example of course but the idea comes through in what I am stating I hope.

A 23x23 (max size portal) has the highest percentage chance to spawn a zombie pigman when activated
Ive made this farm twice two different ways and just fyi bucket of powdered snow works better than bucket of water to break the portal bec the powdered snow won’t move
I see then my assumption each "block" of the portal is given a chance to spawn a ZP on opening was correct.
is it faster and less laggy? Dispenser right behind the frame to put the snow on it?

One farm I recommend making a squid farm, but the issue is a glitch in the Nintendo switch edition. Any water touched by a block or picked up in place down by a bucket, will never spawn squids so you have to modify an ocean by being very careful.

The piston constantly removes the water above the kelp and it cant flow down :(

I have built the iron farm and the gold farm on my survival world. Both designs are ingenious. Currently I am building a second iron farm inside a stronghold that has a skeleton spawner and happens to coincide with a nether fort. That means I’ll be building your iron farm, spawner farm (skeletons and blazes), and enderman farm all in the near future.

The only one I disagree with is creeper farm from most bedrock gaust farms give more gunpowder but you don't get xp

The kelp bone meal farm does NOT work in the most recent updates due to the bug of zero tick farms being patched!
Edit: I tried it myself, and it worked. It failed the first time because I was in two chunks.

Why do you call the pistons that kill the mobs a "trident killer"?
Because the pistons are pushing a thrown trident around which can still kill mobs

Honestly creeper only farms are a waste. All mob farms generate more gunpowder.

I think mob no longer see trapdoor as full block.. my farm is all broken now.. not even button, nope.. not work..
It should still work with trapdoors. Break all the buttons and replace them with trapdoors

Edit: i found the problem. Dont have ur own bed there or itll break the farm.
75% of the villagers in the village have to have worked in the past day to spawn golems which may be your problem. I would suggest making sure they’re all connected to, and have access to their job blocks

Did you put buttons in the holes? They just switched the mechanics so if you did you need to change them to trapdoors

An easier way to build a kill chamber is to hook a tripwire to a piston that, when a mob falls onto the tripwire, the piston will push onto their head and they will suffocate. Then, because a hopper below collects the items and the mob is gone, it will open again. I made it up by myself, and it’s kind of genius.

Yeah but you can use the bows and arrows you get from it to kill mobs and get xp, or you can use the bows for furnace fuel because that gives you xp
yeah if you’re not getting XP then you might as well let them die from fall damage. it’s faster than suffocating. i know you are proud of your idea, but it just makes a bad design even less efficient. keep trying tho. i have a chicken farm that uses an ocelot in the kill chamber so i get trying to design different kill chambers even if you lose out on some things.
The only reason I didn’t do fall damage was because there was an ancient city right underneath it, and I am terrified of those things.
