If you put a target block in place of the trapped chest you can move the tunnel bore remotely. Helps when you have multiple bores going. Love the build!

Fun fact: if you want it to run automatically without a macro, then replace the trapped chest with an observer with the arrow facing the dispenser.
One big recommendation also, with this build is that you shouldn’t be blasting your ores. Once you see them stop and go mine them out as TNT does give you a 100% drop rate, but it only gives u 1 ore per block so use your future , this machine works great for boring out in the end to build nether pathways with ice bridges. They can be connected to the back to generate cobblestone pathways and ice bridges as you go. Also, if you were building this, there’s no real good way to duplicate TNT on bedrock unless you were using the end portal and piston method to duplicate Schulker boxes of TNT, or at least this is the best way I have found to use on our massive world we’ve had since 1.8

Thank you for actually making a build for bedrock that doesn’t require the TNT duplication glitch. So many people will labor their vids for bedrock but then have the glitch as part of their design

Yes, delete the spot you ride on, add 2 slime blocks on the other side in the back middle. Run an observer facing forward into a piston, then slime blocks over with an observer pointed into the dispenser.
When you trigger the first one, it bumps forward, nudging the slime block line forward, which sets off the target block on the next one(use target block instead of trapped chest)

The first 2 minutes of video was a tutorial on digging a hole. The rest of the vid taught me how to make an awesome tunnel bore.
im currently working on a mcbe hardcore series (in the process of of episode one) and i also have a world i play on with my son and my partner. and this video along with quite abit of your other farms have been so helpful.ive learned how spawning works and it helps with resources. so thanks jc! ive subscribed a while back and its be worth it

Just built this in my survival world if there are blocks touching the slime clear them out otherwise it’ll blow up because the mechanism won’t push forward so the TNT won’t get pushed out, other than that works great!

Been working with it for about an hour. it will work for about 4 to 5 moves, then the tnt won’t get kicked forward and it blows the machine up. Not sure what’s happening

It doesn’t work on java because you can’t move droppers or chests with pistons/slime

If you or any fellow redstoners for Bedrock know of a tnt duper please make a tutorial. I'm hoping to find a bedrock duper and use that as the base for a tileable tunnel bore design. keep up the good videos!
I don't believe it's possible at all on bedrock. At least, a rudimentary search seems to suggest as much.
I'm currently looking into creeper farms, which will solve one half of the equation. I'm not sure if sand duping is possible or not but I'm guessing not. Either way that's the easiest to get a lot of, anyway.

Creeper farms are gonna be your best bet, its one of the first things i set up in my worlds. Duping is a glitch and bedrock doesn't have that glitch, so it doesnt exist.

Can someone help me? I built the farm right but it pushes the tnt way to far and sometimes even to little why does this happen?
The machine was working fine for me and then all of the sudden it started doing this exact thing. Sometimes it goes way too far, sometimes just a little too short, and once (the last time i tried it) WAY too short and ended up blowing up part of the machine. I'm going to rebuild it and try again.
Im not sure but i think it might be a directional thing
Any ideas why my tnt won't launch forward? It just pops up and sits on the dispenser and blows the tunneler up!
Your top piston with the slime block is supposed to push the tnt where it needs to go. Try checking to make sure that observer is powered in the right direction
@@hroudabassbrothersfishing402 bro I'm facing the same problem sometimes...otherwise it just throws the tnt forward. It's probably a glitch. Don't know why it occurs a lot of times.
Are you playing on java instead of bedrock? The redstone on java is a bit different, so this tutorial wouldn't work
@@ameliapond6787 I'm playing on pocket edition on my ipad which is same ase bedrock edition.
If the machine isn't moving, one of the slime blocks has probably touched a block it shouldn't'. Happened twice to me and blew my machine up twice. The arm that sticks out kept touching another block and stopped it from moving.

ghast farms are pretty op and you can use a sand duper for sand
@@maevwat I think sand dupper needs end gateway so its pointless to build because you don't need diamonds on that time untill 1.20 comes

Extend the standing platform by 2 or 3 solid blocks, and on the additional tunnel bore machines replace trapped chests with targets. Then shoot the targets with arrows and it should work fine because target is a redstone component, same as the trapped chest.
Or use other design by other famous bedrock youtuber. He has two tutorials on how to connect together multiple of these machines :)

Use a target block instead of trapped chest. Fixes that issue. I had same problem

@@ItzCryzton when scar was looking for mycellium base, he hired mumbo to make a tunnel bore siimilar to this one, as it was grians base, and scar used the tunnel bore, my comment makes sense to you now.

@@insaneblasian6538 no, as no other block is immune to tnt and can be pushed by pistons other than ancient debree
Anyway you could explain oh post a short on extending it?
@Quifxr remove the riding spot,
Then off of the left side (opposite of the old riding arm) where the slime is between the block and piston, slap a slime on, then one behind it.
Put an observer and a piston facing forward. Place temp block on piston then start slime blocks and break temp block.
Add 7 slime to the side(still going left).
Add an observer to the end.
This observer will be facing into the dispenser on your next one.
Make sure you replace the trapped chest with a target block
When your first bore fires and moves forward it will scoot your observer and piston forward causing to fire.
Idk if I’m missing something but what exactly is the point/benefit of this? Could you not achieve an identical result by just walking to the end of the tunnel and placing any block with TNT on top? You’d get the same exact result and not have to waste redstone materials and would be free to move in any direction instead of forward

Why would my TNT not be dispensing? The machine moves forward but nothing comes out.. I have built this before on another realm without any problems.. Does it require the Fire Spreads setting to be on for some reason, maybe?

I wonder if you can add stuff to the side without affecting how it works. Rather than setting a block to get back on it, I would attach a ladder somewhere a block from the ground (2nd block up from floor) that you could jump at and climb. Also to keep from falling off, you could create a platform and use fence so you can see the trap chest and no risk of falling off platform. I kinda want to make one of these and make my improvements on it😂
When using the nachine, make sure there is at least a 1 block gap between the debris and the wall so it gets the blocks underneath if there are blocks underneath that touch the slime it will break

Can you design this with a calibrated sculk sensor to make it remote controlled?
How fast does it move forward? Like how many block? Cause if it doesn't move at least the blast radius of the TNT, it wouldn't be that efficient. It would have to move multiple times or it would be blasting one block after the first blast... Can you control how many blocks it can move each time?
