Yessss
Hell yes
no because keygen loader musics was usually midi.
@@analyzing nop, not midi. usually tracker formats like .xm, .mod, etc...
@@analyzing mostly tracker music. Ahoy has an AMAZING video on trackers btw :)
For a moment I thought I was looking at Scream/Impulse Tracker in the thumbnail. Miss the early 90's!
its FT2 with the impulse tracker pallette... lol
That people are still making intelligent drum and bass is somehow really comforting.
its called jungle lmao
where is the unintelligent drum and bass?
This isn't DnB lmao it's jungle
@@L.Bomrek i prefer to call it dumb and bass

I love you. This video inspired me to get out of bed and actually make a beat today.
How did it go? :)

HOT Chick's on Air Planes and men with Stiff's
i bought this the week it came out, made me so happy as someone who has used the amiga to make music in the past
wonderful, really creative setup and i liked the little title cards for the different parts
Thank you for taking us along while you practice your craft
damn this is dope, i especially loved the process of sampling the pad you made in serum. nice stuff
Inspiring, love those retro samplers they are by far the easiest to use. Thanks for this one. Subbed. Love yer beats!!!
Love this, thanks for making this
your sound design is incredible.
I loved to see every part of this, you nailed it bro, keep dropping us these gems bro. 💎🔥
i love the way you make beats

your editing is really good
that was cool. Great video. Totally reminds me of my protracker days.
This is really awesome!
this is really inspiring thank you
Amazing canary!
you're good at this
so fire bro love itt🔥🔥🔥🔥
THANK YOU
This is absolutely amazing, I love the sound design in this. If you could do you think you’ll ever sort of show how you use Ableton and how to install it? I can’t find any good cracks with the proper KeyGen lol😭
End result was fire asf
nice process 💪
Thanks so much!!

good job, you earned a sub!
this is fucking awesome
The heat I've made with this sampler is crazy... best $13 I've ever spent.

As we look at the piano roll I beg to differ lol
Why the drums remind me of a Power Puff Girls intro cut? 😂 Shits fire.
Loved this video liked your style and your montage (even tho it wasn't that much) you could maybe just if you want to let the part 1 etcsectionlonger to read it without pausing the video ! amazing job an creativity

This is surprisingly similar to some of my more recent workflows. Sounds really vibey
i wish there was an option to completely disable the sample quality degradation. sure, then it would kinda loose its purpose of being an "amiga" sampler, but still then it'd be good for hi-fi stuff. just a thought.
I kind of like the limitations that the quality degradation enforces - it kind of makes me change how I approach making the beat in a way I wouldn't if every sample was full quality. But I could totally see the benefits of Amigo having a hi-fi option for sure!
You can turn on the interpolation and it sounds very clean.
the serum init patch warning is so real hahaha it scares me every time
ahaha it's just so unnecessarily loud
Really nice, is this plugin also for mac?
I like Visco. Amazingly flexible morphing of sound, Length limitation is too short though
the only thing missing now is a function in the DAW to export to *.MOD ;-)
hey this video is awesome! im constantly looking for people on the internet to post their process start to finish but people rarely do :/
i was wondering if you could possibly give me a list of all those neat plugins you used, it would be so nice to try them out!
thanks so much and great video :)
Glad you liked it! Sure no problem:
Amigo Sampler (£10)
Serum by Xfer (£180) - but it is important to note that everything I did with serum was very simplistic and can be achieved with a free plugin!
Tape Stop by KHs (free)
KHs Dual Delay (free)
Codec (free)
And I think the rest are all native Ableton plugins!
@@canaryworkshop adding the prices was a lovely addition, thank you for going above and beyond to do that :) just subscribed to you and am definitely gonna dip into my savings to get serum haha! everyone makes serum presets so i think it would be easier + sooo many good tutorials for it
Happy to help! Serum is definitely worth the investment, and amazing synth

i wanna prod like this dammit🔥🔥🔥
The more I see Amiga VST on youtube the more new ways to use I want to implement
Only thing it's missing is drag and drop functionality.
Hehe, the speed of this workflow makes me assume you're a parent 😄
So 90s fuzzy resampling from FastTracker/Impulse Tracker MS-DOS and Amiga Tracking software are back??
After this I'm wondering if I should switch to Ableton Live, I have a copy for the lite edition, would anyone recommend it? What would be the differences between fl studio if one could summarize it?
Lol when i started your video I was just hearing you skip through your track, but I wasn't looking to see the context where you're explaining your thoughts and process -- I just thought you invented "Unintelligent Drum & Bass" as a genre, characterized by skipped beats and occasionally dead air
What program are you using? :) I wanna get into this stuff
This is Ableton live and the plugin is the Amigo Sampler!
This DnB sounds sooo sweet, but the repetitive nature of the genre always makes it feel like a tech demo to me. I'd love to see this stuff executed by someone with real knowledge of classical composing who could take you on a complete journey but keep the sci fi nature of the noise.
completely agree with that
How do I install amigo and the other vsts of theirs, I got all 5 of them and really want to use them
Bro started off making a Power Puff Girls type beat 😂😂🔥🔥🔥
How do you get that "super-phased" noise on the drums at the end of each bar? It sounds like you're playing them 16x in one beat, then right after you phase it in a really interesting way. Can you elaborate? I'm an FL studio user but this is making me want to switch back.
The sampler VST I was using has a really nice phaser built into it that I was automating at the end of the loop! I can imagine you could get similar results with any stock phaser but yeah the one built into the Amigo sampler sounds super unique and is really easy to use
:D
can we get the serum preset please please please !!
does this work in fl studio?
What OS is this? I can't bounce audio to amigo if it's in an Ableton track without opening a new project on Windows.
You just drag any audio file in
@@migerrancan554 No. On windows if you flatten audio into a track it becomes a file in use and won't let you.
how did you started learning serum?
Tbh I’m not that good at using serum but I would say the best way to learn is to learn about synthesis in general; learn about wavetables, FM synthesis, audio effects, ADSR, LFOs etc. once you have a good understanding of that you will be able to use not just serum but every single plugin that has ever been created!
Abl users discovering Slicex 😂
not quite!
the two ableton stock samplers (simpler & sampler) are insanely powerful and have been around forever.
this isn't that though. Amigo is a VST that emulates a sampler from the 90s
whilst everything i did in Amigo Sampler can be done with slicex/simpler/sampler, the reason i love Amigo is because the emulation of outdated software makes you think about what you're doing differently. Everything is downsampled and a bit clunkier which completely changes your workflow and makes you approach sampling slightly differently by force, as opposed to by choice (which is a good thing imo)
you should try it if you only ever use Slicex, you'd be surprised!
@@canaryworkshop Ty for the explanation!
I didn’t intend it as an insult, rather a rage bait for dummies ;)
Positively surprised at your detailed response! 🙏🏻
@@TheSabotaje haha it's all good i gotchu

Is that beat 'Angles'?
I just wish there was a way to do poly
I see an poly option on the thing isnt that good?
@@pennywise5095poly on sample only, not on trigger. which is honestly the only gripe i have about the plugin other than not being able to automate sample rate; but that’s understandable due to resource limitations. really wish it had poly trigger mode though it would be very fun to be able to layer stuff in one singular instance :(
@@pennywise5095 it doesn’t work in slice mode so you can’t layer break chops
Can you run this on mpc one?
This is a foolish!
can we get a dl for that serum pad you made?
Where I can download this sampler?
what DAW are you using?
Ableton Live ...
does it work on fl studio
stekkerlilfakkel
what daw is this?
Ableton!
whats the name of the plugin??
Amigo
Is this not just FL Studio's Slicex?
Edit: if anything actually, it's slightly worse since it has less features and doesn't have the quick piano roll modulations FL Studio has for native plugins, but you're not really gonna get that feature anywhere else (especially not in Ableton) as far as I'm aware so that's whatever.
Edit 2: After doing some research you're probably better off just getting like
Momentum or something, it's free, has more, and more versatile. If you're looking for sample deterioration you can just replicate that on your own.
Ableton built-in functions and vsts are top notch already, I feel you can pretty much do the same stuff dude's doing on the video just by using "Simpler" as well as cropping the drums to a new midi track which already loads a drum rack that you can use to rearrange the groove.
FL is great, I used it for a couple of years and it was a tough decision switching it up for ableton, but it was prob the best thing I've done. It has by far a lot more functionality than FL imo
there are definitely options out there that are much more feature-rich (even stock plugins like mentioned), but that’s not so much the point of this video
The plugin I’m using is modelled after the Amiga 500, which was used and created in the late 80s/early 90s
I find that the limitations you get when using this type of outdated software (whether emulated or authentic) can actually force you to break away from your usual workflow and think outside the box
I.E you probably utilise a sample differently if you have the OPTION to degrade the quality, as opposed to every sample being forcibly degraded when using this sampler.
Same goes for how you approach chopping up a sample - enforced limitations break you out of your usual production habits and take you down fun rabbit holes that you typically don’t explore when you have every feature at your disposal
I’d definitely recommend giving it a try if you don’t usually give yourself deliberate limitations!
@@canaryworkshop 100% agree with you
@ricka.2562 This isn't an "Ableton v FL" convo I'm talking about the plugin specifically
@@SC4RRL3TTthe same still applies
is this ableton slicex
Nooo Ableton has two stock samplers called Simpler/Sampler & they're both amazing
what I'm using is an emulation of the Amiga 500 from the 90s in VST form, so this is for all DAWs!
