If your minimalist knife is loose in the sheath, just gently heat the insert side with a hair dryer or heat gun. It becomes soft and you can pinch it closer together to make the knife fit more snug. I needed to do this to one of mine and I worked great. I have 5 different minimalists in the series and I enjoy using them.

I love my Minimalist! I have a Rovyvon Flashlight attached on the sheath. Great protection. Super practical. I use both every day which is why it’s my EDC.
Somone with a 3 inch longer blade and a glove will have a huge advantage on you

I love my minimalist Bowie and also my crkt S.P.E.W. I keep the bowie on my keys and the spew is always on my belt in the front by the buckle. They are great knives for sure. And they are so affordable that if i have to ditch it or if i run into someone that needs it more then me it is super easy to replace. I have given a few to female friends of mine that were working alone at night or had to walk home at night so they could be protected if they need it.

@@duckydoug362 well actually Bowie is a blade style. So you can actually have a small Bowie knife. But I agree when most people think of a Bowie knife they think of a larger knife. Something with a 6 inch or bigger blade on it. But the knife I am talking about is literally named the crkt minimalist Bowie. So that is why I called it a Bowie. I didn't name it crkt did. So you will have to take it up with them.
I have CRKT spew wharncliffe and it's made me a lover of neck knives! They're really nifty.
The spew is an awesome edc knife so sure. I absolutely love mine. It goes pretty much everywhere with me. The spew and minimalist Bowie are my go to knives for edc. Although i recently got a buck stockman that i think i am going to add to my edc rotation just for something a bit more classic looking. For those times when i need a knife and don't want to risk scaring those around me.

@@bonelordkaz yeah I have seen that one. I only grabbed the stockman because it was on sale for 15 bucks at my local Walmart. And i figured it would get the job done for sure. And I have always wanted one as it was my grandpa's and dad's favorite knife. So I always told myself I would get one at some point. So now that I have all my other knife bases cover. Figured now was the time to grab the stockman

Love this Knife! I cleaned and Deboned an entire Buck last season. Still had an edge afterwards. 😊

I used mine to cut an entire garden hose out of my mower blades....it did need a touch up on the stone afterwards but they do keep an edge surprisingly well.

I love CRKT and their Minimalist series. The Spear point looks nice! The last one I purchased was the cleaver,which I gave to my Godson cuz I knew it would be more work and chore than pokey- pokey and was a good blade for a younger kid

I've been caring the minamist for years...ya loose the knife hanging it upside-down......I hang it handle up and add a flashlight off the bottom of sheath to wiegh the knife to keep handle up.....the minamist does 90% of the things I need a knife to do.

Willing to bet the sheath retention is so tight, that it dulls the blade some when you pull it out. Just got one a few days ago and its the tightest retentioned knife I own. If it wasn't for that, I'd actually like the knife.
